Trump Warns Chicago After Deadly National Guard Shooting Near White House
President Donald Trump has issued a fresh and alarming warning to the city of Chicago during the Kennedy Center Honours dinner in Washington, D.C., vowing to crack down on crime using the National Guard if necessary. Speaking after the State Department-hosted medal presentation for the 2025 honourees, Trump declared that he has already deployed troops to New Orleans and Memphis and warned that Chicago could be next.
