  4. I think it's a great idea to look for waste in the government. Bloat and waste happen in anything that big. It happens in large corporations also.

    I'm not a Democrat or Republican. Both parties are corrupt. They are both screwing you. I'm on the side of the United States. It's not a team sport. I don't ignore or make excuses for people when they are doing bad things because they are "on my side".

    I'm a little disappointed he's giving totals but no context for any of it. He did say that he was doing that so that's great. I think you need a little or this starts to be misleading. Not that he's intentionally misleading but just giving the numbers will be to some degree.

    One that really is bad is the 100 year old people receiving money. That was caused by the programming language that was used a long time ago. Colbalt I believe. This was widely discussed at the time so you can look it up why it happened.

    You need to understand it doesn't matter, if they are Democrat or Republican, they are not "on your side". You should just assume what they tell you is a lie or at best one side of a topic and generally in a way to make you outraged. This applies to the media. It's best to assume what they are telling you is just one side and supports the narrative they are trying to make.

    Let's do some critical thinking. Instead of just believing what they tell you apply some common sense and logic.

    What Elon has done is NOT to help you or this country. He did not give Trump $288 million dollars late in the campaign for you. You need to ask yourself what would be worth $288 million. Just like all those Billionaire Tech guys Elon isn't a Republican. They never voted Republican before. They want things and Trump is willing to give them whatever if they give him enough money. That's just basic corruption.

    Elon wants more. We know that's true because of the money.

    First he said his goal was 2 trillion. Then it was lowered to 1 trillion. Remember common sense. That's a lot of money. Logically you'd start where the most amount of money is spent. This is easy and well known. The military, medicare, social security. That's where most of the money is. Everything else combined is nothing in comparison. It's impossible for him to reach his stated goal even if he cut everything except the military, medicare, social security. It's not even close.

    Where did Elon start his hack and slash. If you spend that much your going to want to go after your target right away before something can stop you. His first target was the Consumer Protection Agency. The first and he spent extra effort to destroy enough of it so it'd be difficult to start it back up. That agency was set up to help protect us from those that try to lie/cheat/steal from us. We know they did that job well. We know this because the Wall Street guys and billionaires DISPISED them. They couldn't payoff a congressman to get rid of them.

    Did you know Elon had like eight different agencies in the process of taking him and his companies to court for labor violations etc. Did you guess it? Yes they just happened to be the next ones on his list. Remember the news reports? They showed up and copied all their paperwork/documents and then told the employees to stop everything they were currently working on and then fired half the employees. What did that do. He had everything they were using in court against him. Stopped them from going to any court hearing. Then stripped them of employees so they would have a hard time just functioning in the most basic ways. Making it difficult to start coming after him.

    Why did he dislike the Consumer Protection Agency so much. What was their sin? Elon just had signed a deal with Visa. Ever since PayPal he has wanted to create a "everything" app. A app that people can use that combines everything they can do online in one app. This has been done in China. They use one app to pay for everything instead of cash. Shop online. Social media. Send your friend the $5 you owe them. Everything. They find it very useful of course. It's very popular.

    Their government loves it also. That much information about what you buy. Who you talk to. What you talk about. What you do with your time.

    That is what Elon is trying to do with X (twitter). It would be like combining Google/Facebook/Amazon.

    The Consumer Protection Agency had contacted him and told him they were aware of his recent deal with Visa and what he wanted to do. The addition of a financial part for X meant the company was subject to their oversight now. They said they had concerns about peoples privacy since he would have so much of their data. They were going to want to be sure it would remain private.

    Selling your data is worth trillions if he was successful. That's how Google and Facebook make their money.

    That might be all worth $288 million.

    Or believe he gave away $288 million so could save 100ish billion dollars for the government.

    He's either a idiot and a failure or someone that needs to go to prison.

    People on the right look at those people attacking Tesla as a attack against them. It has nothing to do with them. They just refuse to see what everyone else can.

  21. 160 billion POTENTIAL savings. But the budget also went up by 50 or sixty billion. So, we're still f-n bankrupt. Cuts must be at least 2 trillion, which means they didn't even cut 10%… That's bull crap.

  30. Please tell me why Trump and Musk don't pursue Corporate Welfare for Wealthy Corporations. That's 92 billion a year, of which Musk receives 2 Billion. Musk can use his 2 billion to develop Tiny Home Villages across America for Vets, Seniors, Disabled and the homeless.
