  8. Bill acts silly in my opinion. He did before and is doing now. I did not and would NOT ask him for his opinion or advice. Uninteresting. Noone should. My home city was negative 10 degrees C for 3 month every year EACH winter. Now it is zero to 10 degree positive EVERY winter. How is this positive 1,5 degrees? I know what they say, but it is impossible to believe, because it is the same everywhere I can see.
    That does not mean Bill was right with anything he promoted at any time or he will be in the future.

  13. "The oceans are boiling". Please inform where and when the ocean, any ocean or sea, reached 100 degrees C. (exclude any localised areas around Hawaii, Iceland or other volcanic regions)

    "Ice cores show that the increase in CO2 levels at the current rate is a new phenomenon". Snowpacks are permeable to gas to significant depths, possibly up to 150 meters, so the concentrations of a specific gas are an average over the time period required to generate that depth of snow. Average annual snowfall in Antarctica is about 166 mm per year (6.5 inches) so the values given by an ice core are averages from a period of 100 to 150 years.

    NOAA reports that precipitation in the Arctic has been increasing since 1950. Most, but not all, precipitation in the Arctic falls as snow. Higher snowfall equates to more thermal mass which leads to lower temperatures.

    CO2 levels in the past have been far higher than the present day. Five hundred million years ago CO2 levels were about 4000ppb and 2000ppb 400 million years ago. Evidence would tend to suggest that life did not cease to exist during either of those periods.

    During the last glacial maximum (approx. 20,000 years ago) sea levels were about 130 meters below present day levels. 130 meters(130,000mm) divided by 20,000 years equates to an average annual sea level of 6.5 mm. Ten years at that rate would mean a sea level rise of 65 mm. I'm not seeing it. That would tend to indicate that sea level rise rates have slowed significantly from what they have been in the past.

    "Pacific islands are being submerged by rising sea levels". The islands at risk are the low-lying coral atolls. Coral atolls are formed by coral growing in warm waters at a depth not much greater than 20 meters in the waters surrounding a volcanic sea mount. Volcanic sea mounts sink over millennia, as they sink the coral grows on top of existing coral. The appearance over time is for the land portion to shrink while the water area of the lagoon increases. Eventually the land portion completely submerges, and you are left with a coral atoll with an enclosed lagoon. So maybe it isn't the sea rising but the islands are sinking.

  22. Hopefully you are talking to the Climate Discussion Nexus. Climate models pick & choose their source data to deliver “facts” to two decimal points. This if junk science, because source data is too diffuse. Polar ice has great variability but the trend is flat. UK rural (reliable) weather stations are now within urban areas. They even make up the figures. Summer 2025 was hot and dry but summer 1976 was worse. Two hot data points in 50 years don’t add up to anything.
