(RightWing.org) – Since October 7, 2023, when the terrorist organization Hamas attacked Israel in a rampage of rape and murder against unarmed civilians including children, the Jewish state has also had to fend off attacks from Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Houthis in Yemen, and in a historical first, directly from their parent group, the Islamic Republic of Iran. In the United States, the Left has mobilized itself into a frenzy of antisemite and pro-Palestinian protests on college campuses across the country — and the epicenter of that appears to be Columbia University in New York City.
A Tidal Wave of Hate
Not content to simply disrupt life on campus, hundreds of pro-Hamas agitators descended on NYC’s Penn Station and crammed themselves onto the A-Train to Columbia. As with any large gathering of Gen Zers, many of them made sure to dress for the occasion so that they would look good if caught on any of the ubiquitous cameras that are always found anytime a gaggle of them come together.
The protesters have become a problem by setting up tent cities on campuses, taking over buildings like Columbia’s Hamilton Hall — in defiance of the University’s restrictions — and vandalizing property. The problem is becoming so great that even soft-on-crime New York City Mayor Eric Adams has been forced to send in the NYPD in riot gear, at which point at least one female student is caught in a hot mic moment realizing that the reason she is supposed to be on campus is for her education. One can almost hear the “click and ding” of the lightbulb going on over her head.
In the equally liberal enclave on the West Coast, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) and other law enforcement agencies, decided that enough was enough when protesters ignored their orders to disband their so-called “Palestine Solidarity Encampment” on the campus of the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). Reports say that chemical irritants and strobe lights were deployed during the operation on the morning of May 2, by the protesters. The officers did not respond in kind and simply herded the miscreants onto buses wearing handcuffs.
Follow the Money
The saying, “money makes the world go round” is a truism, and like anyone else the people organizing the uprising need money though identifying the source of it can be difficult; however NBC News made an effort and came up with the Westchester People’s Action Coalition Foundation (WESPAC). They are an alt-left group supporting many of the ideals being spewed by the activist, including the many allegedly professional outside agitators found among the students.
WESPAC seems to be a player in the Leftist dark money world if the information on the Influence Watch website is any indicator. They take in money from the Open Society Foundations (George Soros) and the Maximum Difference Foundation which was founded by Iranian-born Michael Amin who allegedly has ties with groups that have been sanctioned by the United States government and whose family’s pistachio business purportedly has links to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). Is anyone surprised?
