I’m not a huge Jon Stewart / Daily Show fan, but he does have some funny moments…and he comes from an era of comedy that allowed you to simply be funny.
Funny was what mattered, not pushing a political agenda.
So while I think he largely leans left, I give him credit for not being afraid to skewer Joe Biden or the Democrats when that’s where the “funny” lives.
And trust me, that’s where almost ALL of the funny lives.
So I was happy to see TWO moments recently where Stewart put a bullseye on Joe Biden and just went for it.
The first was this:

You know what’s really funny about all of this is that it’s painfully obvious that this is true, and Stewart is getting credit for making the “courageous choice” to say it.
You kidding me?
We all see it.
We have been saying it around here for years!
He’s a Dementia patient who belongs in a Home or a Hospital.
He’s a RESIDENT not a President.
But Stewart did a good job of making it funny.
According to reports, this bit came from his act on stage, not from his show, and there is no video footage I have been able to find.
But according to all reports I reviewed, here is a partial transcript:
“I know liberals say, ‘Don’t say Joe Biden is old’ — don’t say what people see with their own eyes! You can say it, he can’t hear us,” Stewart zinged. “I know you know how f***ing old he is, and I know you don’t want to say it because Trump is so scary, but he’s so f***ing old,” he added. “When you watch him on television, you’re nervous, aren’t ya?”
“I’m not saying that Biden can’t contribute to society, he just shouldn’t be president.”
“Which one of you p***ks wants to fight? Put up your dukes! Biden is back, baby! I know that all that all the haters have been out there, talking their s*** — he is too old, he is too weak, he won’t be able to make it, he is — I see you haters. I know who you are! (pulls mirror, blows himself a kiss).”
“Of course, by the way, the State Of The Union was just the Democratic message. But does that message survive a concise and intelligent rebuttal? It happened on Thursday. I should read the whole thing, though I should. Would it survive a concise and intelligent rebuttal from the G.O.P.? Or whatever it was that Alabama senator Katie Britt”.
The second clip I think is even funnier.
This is truly Stewart at his best.
