Millie Bobby Brown isn’t letting the trolls give Instagram a bad name.
The “Stranger Things” star, 20, took to the social media platform on Wednesday, writing on her Instagram Story: “women grow!! not sorry about it :).”
The clawback comes after the actress shared a picture of herself flashing her diamond engagement ring from husband Jake Bongiovi and rocking a mini Louis Vuitton bag.
The “Enola Holmes” actress captioned the Tuesday shot, “Me and my mini.”
But followers flocked to the comments section to react to her appearance.
One Instagram user wrote, “She looks like a 40 year old Jersey housewife,” while another chimed in, “Sorry but WTF is this? Like, why? Just why? So much fillers and Botox.”
A third follower agreed, “You’re pretty and your natural features look good, don’t fix what’s not broken.”
But many fans were quick to come to Brown’s defense, with one person explaining, “Guys nothing happened she’s wearing a lot of makeup so she looks more mature. She’s beautiful either way.
“‘Millie you look gorgeous ignore everyone who is being ignorant,” a second person urged.
Rounding out the sweet sentiments, a follower asked, “Why does everyone think it’s acceptable to comment on someone’s looks?”
But Brown remained unbothered by the trolls, sharing a video looking back at the past year, which included tying the knot with Bongiovi, 22, at Villa Cetinale in Italy over the summer.
She simply wrote beneath the Instagram montage, “The year of mrs bongiovi.”
Following the couple’s first ceremony in May, Bongiovi’s dad, Jon Bon Jovi, told the BBC that it was a “very small family wedding and the bride looked gorgeous.”
Before the couple’s nuptials, Jon, 62, took a moment to gush about his now daughter-in-law.
“She’s really wonderful and her and Jake are a great couple,” the rockstar said in an interview with E! News. “They’re madly in love. It’s an exciting adventure they’re on.”
And the Florence by Mills Fashion founder revealed her mom and dad were equally as happy about their newest family member.
“My parents adore him,” Brown told the Times in 2023. “[Jake and I] both come from parents that have stayed together for a really long time. My parents were young when they got together, so I always had amazing role models for relationships.”
Although the stars have briefly spoken out about the special occasion, the “Godzilla vs. Kong” vet has also been vocal about why she decided to keep her big day private.
“I think probably drawing the curtains, just because there are only so many moments in life that you get only once,” Brown told Women’s Wear Daily in 2023. “And to have everyone’s opinions and eyes looking at that just feels unnatural to me. So I feel it’s important to keep those things, those small precious moments in life, really close to your chest. I can say that the planning is going—it’s so fun and it’s such an exciting time in my life.”
