‘Unite the Right’ counterprotesters collect close to White House at Lafayette Park πŸ—žπŸ‘


A park throughout the road from the White House is already filling up with individuals who oppose a white nationalist demonstration that’s scheduled to happen later Sunday.

The white nationalists are gathering in Washington on the primary anniversary of their rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, that turned violent and led to the dying of a counterprotester.

A stage has been arrange in Lafayette Park and rap music is enjoying for a crowd of about 300, lots of whom are carrying indicators saying β€œShut down white supremacy.”

Uniformed law enforcement officials and a line of police barricades have minimize the park in half, limiting the counterprotesters to the northern half, farthest from the White House.

A counterprotest organizer, talking from the stage, mentioned: β€œWe will be here until these fascist forces are gone, however long that takes.”

The white supremacist rally is scheduled to finish at 7:30 p.m.
