The upcoming change transition from summer to fall means that — in some parts of the country — leaves, dirt and more are about to have a field day. If you’re wondering how you’re going to get dirt and grime off your walkway, porch, the side of your house or even your truck or car, a lightweight portable electric power washer may the be answer to your cleaning prayers. And right now, a highly-rated option from Greenworks is on sale for 40% off. Because this is a HuffPost reader favorite, we’ve kept eagle eyes on this thing for a price drop for you — and can 100% confirm this is the lowest price of 2024.

Unlike bulky gas-powered washers, this baby is more compact and doesn’t use any oil or give out any emissions. Outputting 1.1 gallons per minute with 1,800 pounds of pressure per square inch, it packs a punch for a smaller machine and is ideal for small to medium projects and residential settings.

It has a 35-foot power cord and a 20-foot high-pressure hose, allowing you to easily clean hard-to-reach places. The washer comes with three nozzles, including one for high-pressure medium-angle spraying and one for soap application. While you can buy extra nozzles, many reviews say those included do their job.

We’re pretty confident the price will spike soon, so definitely grab the deal while it’s this good. Still deliberating? Check out these promising reviews:

“OK, so once I got the box, I opened it up, hooked it up and was using it less than five minutes. It was so simple. And all my life I’ve always used the gas powered ones because they pack up punch and they get the job done well I was very skeptical of this little itty-bitty pressure I thought in the end I was probably wasting my money, but this little thing is a little beast. It does the job, clean my concrete wall driveway removed stains. I would definitely recommend this.” —satisfied

“Easy to use. Not the most powerful pressure washer out there, but it does the job for cleaning our cement patio, the gutters, and even stripping off some old paint (not great for this… but it did work on areas that were already flaking).” — Nick

This little washer works like a giant. I was skeptical when I first took it out of the box. How could a power washer this small and light weight churn out enough to clean our deck, old garden chairs and stained patio blocks? Totally surprised by the performance of this unit―and, you can literally carry it from one job to the other. Best around-the-house power washer for the money anywhere.” — TL Gould

“I had recently purchased the Homdox 2850psi PW, and quickly returned it. Beware those brands. The Greenworks PW was what I really wanted to begin with, and the 1800psi seems to do just fine for what we need, so that makes me a very happy consumer right now. I have noticed a couple of things with this model. 1) make sure your water is turned up after it’s connected. I’m fairly certain that your existing water pressure will play a role in how quickly this unit gets up to pressure. Our pressure is great, but I still had to turn up the water a bit when the flow wasn’t consistent. 2) give it more than 30 seconds after the water and unit is turned on, before you start spraying. I have noticed that it takes 2 to 5 minutes for consistent and full pressure to build up. 3) the 15° nozzle (fan) doesn’t work as well if that is the first nozzle put on. I had better luck using the turbo nozzle first, then switching to the 15° to wash my car. I don’t know why, but it seems consistent in it’s antics. Not a deal breaker, though. No issues with maneuvering, or tipping over, the cord/hose is long enough, and no kinking happened on the sprayer hose. If any issues arise, or I’m still glowing about it down the road, I will come back to edit my review.” — John & Lyn Pepler

“I wanted a smaller pressure washer for my rv, vehicles, and the house. This works great. Cleans well without over pressure that could damage the vinyl siding or the finish on cars or rv. This is a great washer. The soap tank is only so-so. It will only dispense soap on low pressure ( like no pressure ) so I usually wet the surface and use my brush to add soap, if I need it, because you don’t always need soap to clean things. Now this won’t clean sidewalks or concrete as quickly as a higher pressure washer will but it won’t damage as quick as one either. This is a light weight, well made washer.” — JIMBOB
