“I bought this for myself as I sew and pins drop onto the carpet, making it hard to find the pins. Surprisingly the magnet on one end of the flashlight is quite strong. Even my husband was amazed at the magnetic strength. The flashight is quite bright and has a wide scope to cover a larger distance (if that makes sense). The wand telescopes making it easier when needing to pick up any kind of metal object like screws, bolts, needles, pins. You don’t have to get down on your hands and knees to find those lost objects. “Obviously a good pick for mechanics, however home use is good too. Examples: 1) sewing needles & stick pins laying on a flat surface where a couple of try’s with fingers is challenging. 2) Jewelry clasps, such as earring backings are easily retrievable in a pinch. 3) Something metal that fell under furniture, refrigerator or clothes washer/dryer; under heavy, hard to move objects with items underneath/behind that are hard to fish for blindly.” — Richard Anderson
“This is a really useful magnetic light – the magnet is a ring around the light – so when you’re trying to pick something up – you can see it! I love the light. “I bought this on sale after following the prices since before Christmas. The flashlight arrived earlier than expected and in nice packaging. I was going to hide it and gift it to him on a special occasion this year but I just couldn’t wait to see what he thought of it. He absolutely loved and his smile said it all. Although the flashlight is small, the magnet is powerful and the light is nice and bright and he tested it right away. It picked up everything metal he hovered over. “This is exactly what I needed for retrieving the pins and needles that always escape when I’m sewing. It doesn’t take up much room yet extends to reach out while I’m still seated, the magnet is plenty strong, and the light is a godsend while searching for those escapees (I’d rather find them while I’m working, before my feet do – ouch!).
