Travel plans coming up? If you’re nervous about losing your luggage, you’re surely not alone; it’s a common worry among travelers, myself included. For all our peace of mind, we found a product that may help stymie some of that lost-luggage anxiety that one reviewer calls “an excellent choice for security freaks” — so long as you own some Apple AirTags.

This hefty carabiner pulls double-duty as a secure combination lock — perfect for luggage, bikes, bags and other belongings— and Bluetooth tracker, thanks to its single AirTag slot. Just slide your AirTag in the carabiner’s polycarbonate housing, set your own three-digit combination and clip it onto something valuable for added security. So long as your iPhone is nearby, you’ll never worry about lost luggage again. Grab it today for a total of 33% off when you clip that on-page coupon! (It takes an additional 20% off the already on-sale 7% off price.)

Reviewers “really love the feel” of this lock, calling it heavy-duty, sturdy and strong — exactly like a lock should be. This little carabiner is only 4 inches in length and coated in a durable polycarbonate housing, protecting your AirTag from scratches and dings while also acting as a barrier for securing luggage, bikes and more. You can set a custom combination before its first use or change it later simply by hitting its reset pin located on the back.

Though you can use it even when you’re not at the airport, people especially adore how helpful the carabiner is for finding lost luggage.

“We purchased two of these for domestic and overseas travel,” says a reviewer named Kimber. “We put the AirTags into them and fastened them around the interior metal frames of our checked luggage, so they couldn’t be removed without disassembling the luggage. Our luggage was lost upon our arrival in Israel. Because the luggage contained AirTags, we knew where our luggage was located.”

“This is very well-constructed and feels extremely secure (although we should always be mindful of the teachings of YouTuber “Lockpicking Lawyer”: that there is no such thing as an impregnable lock). For most everyday locking (plus geo-tracking) purposes, this feels like an excellent, high-quality choice, and offers an innovative solution to the question of ‘how am I supposed to put this darn Apple Airtag to good use?’” — Brie

Definitely felt sturdy when I got it. It’s a little bigger and heavier than I thought and what I needed it for but definitely feels secure. Because of all the negative reviews saying that it doesn’t unlock so I tested it out a couple of times when I got it. It works fine! Just make sure you are putting in the combo right side up, one time in the test I accidentally put in my combo facing the back and of course it didn’t unlock. Freaked out for a second before realizing what I did. But other than that it works great!! But just be aware how thick the ring is. I wanted inside my purse but had a hard time finding a good spot for it due to the thickness of the ring and to just put it on a key ring kind of defeats it’s purpose…. But I am sure something like a bike or luggage would have no issues! Overall, I think it does what it supposed to do and it’s the only one with a safe lock for the AirTags I can find out there!!” — Jing

“We purchased two of these for domestic and overseas travel. We put the AirTags into them and fastened them around the interior metal frames of our checked luggage, so they couldn’t be removed without disassembling the luggage. Our luggage was lost upon our arrival in Israel. Because the luggage contained AirTags, we knew where our luggage was located. We then bought two more to secure the AirTags to an inobvious metal piece in the trunks of our cars. Highly recommended. DO NOT forget your combination. There is no way to open them without the correct combination. We recorded our combinations in Notes on our phones and in a notebook in a safe location in our home.” — Kimber

“We purchased two of these for our luggage air tags. They arrived in good shape, and not overly packaged, and we easily programmed the code, so they were ready to use in minutes. They are very strong, tough, and we feel confident they’ll be there to track our luggage if lost. One addl’ note, it’s very hard these days to find companies on Amazon who are responsive. This company IS! We needed to contact them with a question, emailed them, and got a response in hours. All in all, they were very helpful and attentive.” — LoRDe

Bought it to put on my son’s bike after his other one was stolen. Not only do I know where his bike is, I know where he is! And no one even him can take off the tracker. Good buy!” — Kelly Wilson
