“I love these things. I have this larger one and have bought 3 smaller ones. I love the wifi set up and I love the auto setting. Super quiet and then one morning my wife was cooking bacon and the auto kicked in and ramped up to high to clear the air. Tells me the sensors really work and doing their best to keep your air clean. Also gives you status of filter cleanliness and when to change and air quality throughout the day. I’ve got them spaced out in my two story home and very happy and pleased I got these. These combined with my electromagnetic air filters and blue light in my HVAC unit, I know I am doing their best I can to keep the air in my house clean. Loving it.” — Aubri

“This is my second Blueair purifier, although the first one of this model that I’ve bought. We use this purifier in our master bedroom, so the fact that it has a night mode that is silent and dimmed lights is important. The lowest speeds are completely silent and even the highest speed is fairly quiet (quieter than our non-Blueair purifier’s “quiet” mode). The app allows you to see the air quality in your room and control your device remotely. Setting up the device and app is extremely simple and clear. Make sure you follow the instructions for cleaning/replacing filters and Blueair devices will last a long time. We have the filter on permanent order so we don’t have to think about when to replace it. However, the app allows you to see the “life” left in your filter, which can vary based on your situation and use. This device has been very helpful during pollen season for allergy relief. Most of the time I leave it on “automatic” mode and that works perfectly fine for day or night. Blueair purifiers fit almost anywhere and you just forget they are there.” — M. Lewis

“I love this Swedish designed air cleaner because of the simplicity of the controls. Just tap the front round button on it to set it to low, medium, or high speed. The round button has a circular blue light on top of button, 1,2,or 3 light, depending on what speed you have it set at. When the internal filters need changing the lights turn red. The air enters the cleaner from all four sides and the very first filter it hits is the colored skirt around the bottom half of it. These skirts are like a fitted sheet for a bed, once in place they stay. You can also buy different colors, yellow, etc. to kind of match your room your putting it in. I bought two of these, one for my apartment, and one for my mother’s house.

Both came with a black and a blue bottom skirt. I wash them in my washer when they get really dirty, you’ll know, colors fade as gray dust coats it. The filters are layered and molded in one piece, 4 sided, and easy to install. The top half of the air cleaner lifts off, drop the filter pack in, and your ready to go. You also lift the top half of air cleaner when you put a new skirt on the bottom half. The high speed is where I run my Blueair at all times, have neighbor in apartment next to me, and smoke seeps in. I eliminates the smoke completely when used on high speed. If you need to move the air cleaner you do have to lift it up from the bottom and carry it upright so that top doesn’t fall off. It not really that heavy to move and how often do you move an air cleaner around. Price on this model seems to go up and down often, so shop carefully. Also the filter pack replacement is on par with larger air cleaner, more than a small one, but really not over priced on Amazon. I think you’ll be pleased with this Blueair Blue 211.” — Airbus30b

This thing is so quiet, too quiet? Is it even on? I replaced a large older unit in my bedroom and I cannot believe how quiet this is in comparison. You have to put your ear right up to it to hear it when it is on low.” — Trish

“Very happy with this filter. Ended up buying three more. The replacement filters are mildly expensive, but my seasonal allergies are a lot better, my house doesn’t have that Labrador smell, and the filters attract a ton of particulate. Been running every day for four years… mostly on low… I change my filters every six months. Consider getting replacement filters on auto ship as the subscribe and save deal is hard to beat price wise.” — Tommy
