The highly sought-after Apple Watch seems to be the ubiquitous fitness-forward smartwatch and it comes with a serious clout tax. Even on sale, they’re over $100. That said, people are understandably hunting for something comparable for less, and lucky for you, many of them found something better: FitBit’s Inspire 3 watch that does nearly everything the Apple Watch does but is far less “overly complicated” and more properly priced — especially since it’s 30% off today at both Amazon and at Kohl’s (very convenient if you do your Prime returns there, anyway 🤗). The only catch is you’ll have to hurry because the price hasn’t been this low since April, and we’re unsure how long it’ll stick around.
Most people love and prefer the budget-friendly Fitbit Inspire 3 as a worthy Apple Watch rival thanks to its similar capabilities. This watch does A LOT.
Whether you’re a walker, runner, gym maven, cyclist,or simply just trying to be on top of your health more, the Fitbit Inspire 3 can track your activity. It’ll count your steps, tell you how many calories you’ve burned and how long you’ve been active. Plus, its built-in GPS tracks any workout you’re doing outside. The watch can monitor your heart rate and menstrual cycle. You’ll also get dozens of workout modes to track lost calories and active time, a blood oxygen sensor, daily stress and sleep scores and GPS integration (!). In short, “the Fitbit Inspire 3 is a solid health and fitness tracker,” per user Kekoa.
“It gives really helpful insights about my daily activity and rest. The stress management and workout intensity features are useful, especially for keeping me motivated throughout the day… Overall, it’s a reliable tracker for anyone looking to monitor fitness and health trends in a simple, user-friendly way.”
Unlike other models in the Fitbit family, you can’t pair it with Google Assistant or Alexa or use Fitbit Pay for contactless payments. However, you can still pair it with your smartphone (Android and Apple) to unload all that data and keep track of your current fitness progress.
Like the Apple Watch, it also has a water-resistant band to help prevent moisture damage from rain, sweat and dishwashing.
But the feature people nearly unanimously say blows the Apple Watch out of the water is the “insane” battery life.
The FitBit brand markets a 10-day battery life on a single charge and reviewers assert that it’s legit! “Battery life lasts forever,” says a reviewer named Precise Disarray. User Gomer wrote that they’re “blown away” by it. “In my personal opinion this thing demolishes the competition,” they expounded.
“Even the premium stuff from Samsung and Apple.” Not bad for a watch that’s half the price of those big names, no?

“Bought this simply because I like to track my sleep since I have sleep issues. Not a diss to the Apple Watches, but my Apple Watch SE battery lasts about the day. This Fitbits battery for two weeks, I wear it literally all day long minus when I shower. Otherwise I never take it off, even wear it overnight, and it lasts about 2 weeks. Couldn’t be happier, it does everything I need it to do: track sleep, heart rate, tracks my workouts and runs, if you were on the fence about what watch to get, I would definitely keep it on the final list.” — Miriam
“Have been looking for a fitness tracker for months that is slim and lightweight enough to not notice on my wrist. Looking for something easily functional for tracking my fitness. This fit bit is so easy to use and connects so easily to my phone. For how active I am and with my line of work, the material has been very durable and held up really well nicely with such a sleeklook. Easily to check steps and heart rate while working out.” — Casey
“I went from a smartwatch to this fitbit and I like it so much more. It is light weight, it keeps track of my steps pretty accurately, it doesn’t feel big and bulky while I sleep, plus the orange band is cute. I can go 4-5 days before charging.” — Ariel K
“I’ve had my Fitbit Inspire for just under a month and I really really love it! My Apple Watch was slowly dying and I wanted a replacement for tracking steps, sleeping, workouts and had a vibrating alarm but wasn’t as “connected” as Apple Watch. I was not about to shell out money for a new watch and after trying a few cheaper activity trackers I looked to see what new fitbits there were. I found this and decided to give it a try. I love the slim minimalist look of it and the fact that I can change out different bands. The app has so many amazing functions and It connects to the Rise app that I use for sleep tracking so that’s a plus. The watch face itself can be customized which is fun. It was easy to connect with my phone and I just leave the app open in the background on my phone to keep it synced.
Overall I’m very pleased with my Fitbit Inspire and the quality makes me feel like it will for sure last longer than the cheaper trackers I tried. For sure feel like I got good value for a fraction of the price of an Apple Watch.” — Kan
