In this economy, we need versatile kitchen appliances that make our lives easier, not harder (with bonus points if it’s on sale). Lucky for you, the user-loved, “ridiculously helpful″ Ninja multi-cooker is a jack-of-all-trades device that won’t just earn its place on your counter; it will earn its place in your heart. “This is ‘spoons down’ one of the best – if not THE best things I’ve ever purchased for my kitchen antics,” Rose Garretson wrote. “I love this.”
With the ability to slow cook, sear, sauté, steam, sous vide, braise, bake, warm and proof, reviewers say the machine has “completely replaced the usual jumble of pots and pans that used to occupy several cabinets.” Even better? It’s currently 35% off, saving you $60 bucks (plus time and space.) The deal is truly incredible.
Multifunctional is the name of the Ninja’s game. Plus, the removable, oven-safe pot can be used almost as a Dutch oven, for baking and serving.
Choose from the eight built-in cook settings to braise, cook, sear or sauté at up to 400 degrees, or remove the pot and lid, which are oven-safe to 500 degrees. You can even use it to proof bread.
The brand says the machine replaces the need for up to 14 tools and appliances, including a steam oven, food warmer, nonstick pot, sauté pan, cast iron skillet, saucier, steamer, stock pot and bread maker.
“I’m convinced the only thing it can’t do is my taxes (though I haven’t fully tested that theory),” BarbaraS wrote. “It’s like having Gordon Ramsay, Ina Garten, and your grandma’s secret recipe book all trapped inside one shiny pot.”
Users call it a “serious upgrade” from past slow cookers, with others joking that the machine made them give away their Crock-Pots and “officially donate” their Instant Pot to their kids.
Because of the functionality, reviewers say this Ninja is so much more than your average Crock-Pot, giving you “the best of both worlds” of an Instant Pot and slow cooker. Deemed an “indispensable” kitchen tool, with unmatched versatility, it’s making cooking feel less like a chore, and getting reviewers excited about trying new recipes and techniques.
“The intuitive controls and pre-programmed settings make it simple to achieve restaurant-quality results, even for someone like me who isn’t a professional chef,” Heather wrote, calling the machine a “practical choice” for both busy weeknights and leisurely weekend cooking.
The 8.5-quart size gives you enough room to cook for guests, though fear not, users say the non-stick interior makes cleanup a breeze — even if you’re cooking for an army. And you get a dishwasher-safe ladle with a serrated side for serving pasta. (Note: The glass lid is also dishwasher safe, but you’ll want to handwash the pot to protect the nonstick coating.)
“I am still experimenting, but I love the fact that you could make your foods extra crispy and you have so many options,” one wrote. “I feel like I went from minor leagues to major leagues with my slow cookers.”
Reviewers call this versatile appliance “the GOAT of slow cookers.” Read more 5-star reviews and grab one for yourself while it’s on sale.
“Purchased this a couple of months ago and absolutely love it. The Ninja Foodi has quickly become one of my most-used kitchen appliances. It heats evenly, is easy to use, and the multiple cooking functions make it incredibly versatile. I’ve used it for slow cooking, sautéing, and one-pot meals, and everything turns out great. Cleanup is easy and it feels very well made. If you’re on the fence, I highly recommend it.” — Kelly P
“This is ‘spoons down’ one of the best – if not THE best things I’ve ever purchased for my kitchen antics. I love this. The lightweight pan is easy to clean. The functions are wonderful for searing, roasting, braising. If you make your own bone broth and roast the beef bones before – you don’t lose anything. Everything stays in this attractive unit. Love it! I will be buying another unit for our weekend home.” — Rose Garretson
“I’m a single senior who hardly ever cooked as I had no patience to deal with standing over a hot stove or washing multiple pots and pans. When I saw this Foodi a year ago, I thought, what? , all I have to do is put the food in the pot and push a button?, sounds good to me, count I’m in. Well, since then, I’m turning into a chef cooking up a storm, everything from chilli to soups. I absolutely love this cooker. Now, I’m cooking healthy meals all the time. I would have loved if there was a baking function on it like the larger Foodi unit has but I opted for this unit because of its smaller size. I had one issue, the handle on the lid got extremely hot. I quickly rectify it by purchasing the Goldlion silicone handles for $12 on Amazon which perfectly fit over the Ninja Foodi handles. The lid now stays cool to touch. So if you decide to purchase the Ninja foodi, I would suggest investing in the silicone handles as well, Bottom line, the Ninja Foodi works perfectly. It’s easy to use, saves time and simplifies cooking. I highly recommend!” — Cathy0873
“This is a serious upgrade to the slow cooker from 20 years ago it replaced! It has several cooking modes, is easy to learn to use, and is a perfect size for a small family. Get the larger one if you like to cook larger quantities. I like this appliance a lot.” — Amazon customer
