Halsey is unbothered by the internet trolls who bashed her for donning lingerie online.
The singer, 30, claimed that some social media users were upset over the racy pictures she shared earlier this week. In a series of photos posted Monday, Halsey, who goes by the pronouns she/they, showed off their figure in lace lingerie.
“I can’t believe how angry everyone is that I wore a push up bra,” Halsey wrote on X, formerly Twitter, on Monday. “Damn I really still got it like that.”
After one X user asked the “Safeword” singer who was “angry” over the skin-baring photos, Halsey replied, “The body cops.”
In a separate post, another fan shut down critics of Halsey’s fashion choices, writing, “Like we ain’t see yo whole [titty] on a album cover.”
Halsey seemed to agree that people shouldn’t be shocked by her post.
“Like I didn’t do full frontal on a 100 foot tall IMAX screen,” they replied, seemingly referencing her semi-clothed appearance in films like 2024’s slasher “MaXXXine.” “[Be fucking for real.]”
Halsey (real name Ashley Nicolette Frangipane) is no stranger to clapping back at her haters.
In May 2022, the musician addressed backlash over their appearance in a since-deleted TikTok video.
In the clip, Halsey said people have called her “unhealthy” and “too thin.”
“‘u look sick’ BC I AM! LET ME LIVE!” they captioned the video.
A week before, Halsey had opened up about suffering multiple health problems after giving birth to her son, Ender, in July 2021.
“I know a lot of you guys have been wondering what’s going on with my health,” they wrote on Instagram in May 2022, Billboard reports. “My health has changed a lot since I got pregnant and gave birth. I started getting really really really sick. I’ve been kind of sick most of my adult life.”

Halsey continued, “I was hospitalized for anaphylaxis a few times. After seeing, like, a hundred thousand doctors, I got diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, Sjögren’s syndrome, mast cell activation syndrome, POTS [Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome], and I’m still looking for answers to the root cause of some of these things that could potentially be another type of autoimmune disease.”
