Storm causes havoc throughout NYC night commute

NEW YORK (AP) – 1000’s of riders had been left stranded when a line of robust storms pushed throughout New York Metropolis and badly disrupted the night commute.

Metro-North says the Hudson, New Haven and Harlem+ strains have resumed regular service after being suspended earlier attributable to downed bushes on the tracks.

The commuter railroad says passengers ought to count on residual delays.

Photos posted on social media confirmed concourses on the terminal jammed with stranded passengers.

The sky over the town turned black because the storm rolled in.
