There are some appliances you don’t need, but you really really want, and Black Friday often forms the perfect opportunity to indulge in such fantasies for less. That’s certainly the case with the ever-popular Ninja Creami, Ninja’s at-home ice cream maker, which is currently on sale at its lowest-ever price of £119 at Amazon (was £199) for Black Friday.

Hell, even David Beckham can’t resist its charms according to Ninja’s ongoing collaborations with the ex-footballer. As part of the Black Friday deals, Ninja and its sister-brand Shark offer some fantastic savings on a range of best-selling appliances, and the Ninja Creami is no stranger to the discount treatment.

This year, however, marks the lowest price I’ve ever seen at Amazon, a fantastic deal that slashes 40% off its list price. If soft-serve is more your bag, then buckle in; the Ninja Creami Scoop and Swirl is also on sale for £273 at Amazon (was £349).

I have three top tips for new owners, though. First off, you’ll need to freeze your ingredients overnight in the provided jug, so don’t expect ice cream right out of the box. Secondly, most freezers will invariably freeze the contents rock-solid, so it’s worth letting the jug defrost for a few hours in the fridge before attempting to blend. Finally, always ensure to mush down your ingredients as much as possible; the Ninja Creami is not a blender, so whole fruits frozen solid will offer a different texture.
