Occupant Condemns Embassy That No Longer Favors Him
President Bernardo Arévalo’s March 3 statement condemning US interference in Guatemala as “irregular and worrisome” would make George Orwell smile. Arévalo illegitimately occupies the presidency on account of crimes committed by the Joe Biden regime and the US State Department (DOS).
Arévalo’s exhortation to Guatemalan congressmen to vote against organized crime, in which he mentions specific candidates, is illegal. He demonstrates his criminal nature by intervening in congressional, attorney general, magistrate, and other selection processes in which the president has no role.
Ironically, Arévalo is complaining that the US embassy is intervening on behalf of Attorney General Consuelo Porras’s candidacy for reappointment. No Donald Trump administration official has engaged with Porras because DOS traitors have demonized her to keep her from exposing them. Hopefully, however, Arévalo’s allegation of embassy support for Porras will provoke President Donald Trump and his White House team to actually work with her.
The Trump team needs to understand the importance of Porras’s information. It would cascade into an avalanche that would expose widespread DOS and intelligence-community criminality. This would increase support for Trump to hold traitors accountable and remove them from our government.
After the judiciary cancelled Arévalo’s Semilla party, he could not legally be president. Biden regime holdovers Ambassador Tobin Bradley and Deputy Chief of Mission Patrick Ventrell intimidated high-court magistrates not to apply the law, which would remove Arévalo from office.
The traitorous pair routinely intervened to favor Arévalo. That includes in the very same processes that Arévalo now condemns the embassy for its supposed interference. Because of the crimes the Biden regime committed to impose and keep him in office, Arévalo mistakenly assumes Trump will commit the same crimes against him, so Arévalo is preempting any actions.
The Biden regime’s agenda was to impose a dictatorship on Guatemala by centralizing power in the presidency and perpetuating itself in power. Under direction from DOS traitors, including Todd Robinson from retirement, Bradley and Ventrell targeted three critical 2026 appointments. They intervened in each institution that participates in the selection of Supreme Electoral Tribunal (TSE) magistrates, Constitutional Court (CC) magistrates, and the attorney general.
Removing Bradley and Ventrell in January complicated the Biden agenda. Apparently, from Arévalo’s complaint, Trump’s White House team has begun to override DOS traitors.
The opportunity still exists to save Guatemala from the completion of the Biden agenda by properly applying the law. It is unnecessary to intervene Biden-style, as Arévalo charges the embassy with doing now. Proper application of law is Arévalo’s worst nightmare.
Ventrell intervened in October to prevent the Supreme Court from electing a new president, leaving an Arévalo shill as acting president. After Ventrell left, the court elected the person who would have won in October. The court president has roles in the CC magistrate appointment, the AG selection process, and passing filed complaints against executive-branch office holders to Congress.
Injunctions are pending against the state university’s process for its CC appointment and against the attorney general nominating commission’s inclusion of new criteria after the process had begun. Arévalo’s agents have intervened illegally to assure appointment of their comrades who did not qualify with the original criteria.
Bradley and Ventrell intervened last year to put Arévalo’s allies in charge of the Bar Association. Arévalo’s agents intervened in the Bar Association’s selection of its appointee to the nominating commission for TSE magistrates. The other four commission members are from the country’s universities.
The commission sent a list of 20 candidates from which Congress must select the TSE magistrates for the 2026–2032 term. Arévalo has only one ally of the 20. His allies have filed an injunction to repeat the election.
With DOS actively violating the law to put and keep Arévalo in power, he knows no other way to get what he wants. Typical of criminal socialists, Arévalo believes his ideology justifies any means to achieve his ends.
If Guatemala’s magistrates apply the law, Arévalo will not be able to steal the 2027 and 2031 elections. Guatemalans will be free to forge their own path, free of the criminal globalist agenda. Rich in resources, they will likely become more productive and a strong US ally.
Arévalo’s ambassador to Mexico, committed leftist Edgar Gutierrez, has been working with President Claudia Schienbaum and her Morena Party to have Pemex buy Perenco’s Guatemalan oil fields. The surely corrupt deal will finance Arévalo’s candidate for president in 2027.
Honest processes for key appointments during the next two months would impede this anti-US Puebla Group agenda from controlling Guatemala. Having Guatemalan cooperation regarding illegal flows of narcotics and migrants will help Trump in his dealings with Mexico.
As a victim of the Biden regime’s lawfare, Trump understands judicial corruption better than anyone. Trump’s White House team should ensure that the embassy uses its influence to promote transparent and free processes in Guatemala. This will coincide with Trump’s National Security Strategy.
