New court filings show the University of Iowa student accused of flipping a Turning Point USA table on campus now faces two separate misdemeanor cases in Johnson County.
19-year-old Justin Pham Calhoon was originally charged in connection with the Nov. 5 incident, but records now show an earlier case from Oct. 27, 2025, also filed by the University of Iowa Department of Public Safety.
Across both cases, Calhoon faces a total of five simple misdemeanor charges:
2 counts of Disorderly Conduct – Disturbing a Lawful Assembly or Meeting
2 counts of Harassment 3rd Degree
1 count of Criminal Mischief 5th Degree
Court documents indicate Calhoon was released without bond and is under no-contact orders in both cases.
Non-jury trials are set for March 2026.
