The Issue: ICE’s substantial amount of arrests since President Trump green-lighted deportation raids.

I support President Trump’s quick and decisive actions of deporting illegal criminals. These people are rapists, murderers and terrorists (“ICE arrests now top 7K,” Feb. 2).

But it is important to remember that all illegal immigrants are economic terrorists. So, while it makes sense to go after the worst criminals first, all illegal immigrants should be rounded up and deported. It’s time to take our country back.

Watching ICE agents separate people from their families reminds me of another time when this was done with such heartlessness to the tune of “I was just following orders.”

Is this what we’ve become? Destroying families with no conscience.

I don’t care if you are MAGA or a Communist — some things are just wrong.

The notion that local authorities are hampered from helping ICE, at minimum by arresting and deporting law offenders, is absolutely confounding.

My solution: Force all supporters of illegal immigration to take these criminals into their neighborhoods. I find that unless it hits you personally, it’s easy to be an empathic sanctuary supporter.

Illegal immigrants have disobeyed the laws of our country, with many committing atrocities against the citizens of America through murder, rape, theft and drug smuggling, to name a few.

All the while, they’ve been receiving money, food, housing, phones and much more than the American people themselves.

I’m also positive that we Americans made the right decision by voting for President Trump and that this new government will prevail.

While the left goes on about how arresting and deporting criminal illegals threatens democracy as well as the very core of our values, it becomes clear that one word is most descriptive of how these people relate to our country’s current state: irrelevant.

In what type of “democracy” do these people wish to live — and what exactly are their core values other than lawlessness, decrepitude and chaos?

The Issue: Reports that illegal crossings at the southern border have dropped 90% since Jan. 20.

The crossings at the southern border have dropped 90% under President Trump, who accomplished this with his signature and his rhetoric (“An open & shut success for Don,” Feb. 7).

It should be obvious to the American people now that lying former President Joe Biden could have accomplished the same thing. His persistent lie that it was the Republicans holding up legislation that prevented him from closing the border was, in his words, malarkey. Thanks to the turncoat Democrats, he has been put out to pasture.

Isn’t it amazing that in four years of seeking an answer, former Vice President Kamala Harris couldn’t find a single root cause of illegal migration?

During that same period, Alejandro Mayorkas was totally befuddled and Biden was living in some outer space. The entire Democratic Party lived under the mantra that nothing could be achieved without “comprehensive immigration reform” during Biden’s presidency.

Yet after only three weeks in office, President Trump has cut border crossings by 90%. Leadership matters, results matter and the American voter matters.
