President-elect Donald Trump on Sunday said American ownership of Greenland, which is currently controlled by Denmark, is an “absolute necessity” for national security and freedom.
Trump said in a post on Truth Social announcing Ken Howery as his ambassador for the Kingdom of Denmark:
