President Trump said the Republican Party has “a good bench” of potential candidates to run for the White House in 2028, but he declined to name an early favorite to run as his successor.
In an interview that aired Wednesday evening on NewsNation’s “Katie Pavlich Tonight,” Trump was asked whether he thinks there’s a likely GOP candidate who could carry on his legacy.
“I hope so,” he responded. “And we certainly have a good bench. We have some very talented people.”
