US Marshals are currently conducting an extensive search for Nathan Wade, who previously served as a Fulton County investigator and is known to be in a relationship with DA Fani Willis.

“The committee issued the subpoena on Friday, attempted to serve the subpoena to Nathan Wade’s lawyer, who declined, and subsequently the committee tried to serve the subpoena via email through Nathan Wade himself, never heard back. As a result, the committee had to use the assistance of the U.S. Marshals, who have also not been able to find Nathan Wade,” Russell Dye, a spokesman for the committee, told Newsweek on Wednesday evening.
Previously, Wade operated as a special prosecutor in Georgia’s election interference case against former President Donald Trump. He is now missing.
The House Judiciary Committee wants Wade to testify on Friday regarding his affair with Fani Willis, but he has not been found, prompting U.S. Marshals to assist in locating him.
He’s been the subject of a search effort due to his absence for a subpoena issued by the House Judiciary Committee, which is probing the conduct of Fulton County DA Fani Willis.

Back in January, the relationship between Fani Willis and Nathan Wade was brought to light by Trump’s RICO co-defendant Michael Roman in a court filing.
According to the filing, Wade financed luxurious trips with Fani Willis to Napa Valley and the Caribbean using Fulton County funds.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that “County records show that Wade, who has played a prominent role in the election interference case, has been paid nearly $654,000 in legal fees since January 2022. The DA authorizes his compensation.”
Both Willis and Wade were summoned to testify and denied the length of their relationship under oath.
Wade provided false statements about his divorce in a civil court, submitted incorrect information in a brief signed by Willis, and lied on the witness stand.
In February, a court filing revealed that Fani and Nathan exchanged 11,865 text messages leading up to the case against Donald Trump and 18 others accused of making false claims about the 2020 election.
It’s clear they lied under oath about the duration of their affair.
Judge McAfee quashed six counts in Fani Willis’s indictment, including three counts against President Trump.
Following the judge’s ruling, Nathan Wade resigned from the RICO case.
“Although the court found that ‘the defendants failed to meet their burden of proving that the District Attorney acquired an actual conflict of interest,’ I am offering my resignation in the interest of democracy, in dedication to the American public, and move this case forward as quickly as possible,” Nathan Wade wrote in a letter obtained by WSB-TV.
