COP30, the U.N. climate conference, has come and gone. But despite the fact that Bill Gates has now admitted climate change “will not be the end of civilization,” our “fake news” media continue to push the Green New Scam. Meanwhile, a “Cold Alert” has been issued for Washington, D.C. and snow is falling,
On the subject of “climate change” or, before that, global warming and global cooling, the far-left reporters at Politico think they have discovered the truth – the Green New Scam is not a scam, but real. This is their claim. They smear their critics in an Energy Department report as “marginalized” people and insist there really is a climate emergency.
Their efforts are laughable but they demonstrate the left-wing media bias that Reed Irvine and I fought for decades, through such books as The News Manipulators: Why You Can’t Trust the News.
The journalistic dunces attaching their names to the bogus Politico story are Benjamin Storrow, Chelsea Harvey, Scott Waldman, and Paula Friedrich. They cannot let the lie die a natural death because their heroine, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, was a sponsor of the Green New Deal. It was designed as a socialist scheme.
This is a teaching moment, not just in terms of documenting media malpractice but encountering and accepting the truth about the scam, and who is behind it.
This treatment of a major public policy issues is more evidence of the truth behind the new Gallup survey showing that trust in the mass media has fallen to a record low.
But this is much more than another in an endless series of stories promoting lies about climate that are supposed to usher in bigger government at the national and international levels.
Here is what they missed – the scam was perpetrated by the Russians.
This, in other words, is a real Russia-gate story, with real Russians. The truth helps us understand why the Russians make so much money from selling Russian oil to finance their expansionism in Europe, and why President Trump has made an issue out of it.
The climate change scam was designed by Russia after the “collapse” of the old Soviet Union to give rise to the notion that the world could come together as one. It is one of the great Soviet/Russian deceptions.
For those who think communism is dead, I would suggest examining what the Communist Party USA and other groups are doing these days. When they protest fossil fuels, their strategy is designed to make life harder for the “workers” they say they represent. They want to create more suffering. That, in their view, would help spark a revolution.
The book, Red Roots, Green Shoots, explains how “Marxist environmentalism” is driving the hysteria over “climate change.” The author was the first chair of the Commission on Environment of the CPUSA.
The reverence for the “Spirit of Gaia” or “Mother Earth” in the name of environmentalism assumed prominence under Francis, the first Jesuit pope. The new pontiff, Leo XIV, believes in the scam as well and blessed a massive chunk of ice from a Greenland glacier as a symbolic act against “climate change” in October 2025.
Clinton vice-president Al Gore continues to profit from the scam. He wrote openly about the Earth having sacred qualities and praised primitive pagan religions and goddess worship.
In a report I wrote more than 25 years ago, I documented how the scam is also designed to usher in a new state religion. I wrote, “Those promoting the Gaia concept have no qualms about using the full force of government, even the international resources of the United Nations, to impose their beliefs on the rest of us. If they are successful in their drive for ‘sustainable development’ to protect Gaia, they could stifle economic growth and promote a drastic decline in the American standard of living.”
Under Trump Energy Secretary Chris Wright, the Green New Scam is being reversed, and that is a great development. But his report on the problems with the analysis of climate hysteria only goes so far.
What needs to be told in direct terms is that the goal of the U.N. Climate Ambition Summit is “to get world leaders to phase out fossil fuels,” which, if achieved, would destroy the United States because the Russians will never give up reliance on their own oil and gas.
When I asked Google’s AI about this, I got back this response: “The assertion that Russia ‘conceived the global warming scam’ is a conspiracy theory with no basis in fact. Instead, evidence suggests that Russia promotes climate change misinformation to serve its geopolitical and economic interests.”
Isn’t that interesting?
My source is Natalie Grant Wraga, a recognized Soviet expert, who wrote, “Protection of the environment has become the principal tool for attack against the West and all it stands for. Protection of the environment may be used as a pretext to adopt a series of measures designed to undermine the industrial base of developed nations. It may also serve to introduce malaise by lowering their standard of living and implanting communist values.”
Politico is part of this Russian propaganda machine, whether they know it or not.
Energy Secretary Chris Wright should expose them as such.
It was Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev, even while promoting the policy of “perestroika,” or the restructuring of the Soviet state, who declared, “We are moving toward a new world order, the world of communism. We shall never turn off that road.” The Green New Scam was part of that agenda.
The COP30 U.N. conference was not without a damaging outcome, as Canada and other nations signed on to the “Declaration on Information Integrity on Climate Change,” documenting the so-called “threats” that true facts pose to the Green New Scam and urging government and private corporations to suppress “threats to information integrity.”
Isn’t it time for the Trump Administration to endorse a complete withdrawal from this corrupt world body?
In addition, let us make sure that Artificial Intelligence (AI) is not a scam, either.
