It was Kama-La The Copycat twice over. Kamala Harris made a “surprise” appearance on Saturday Night Live last night, and the skit writers couldn’t even come up with new material.

Somehow I just KNEW the trademark Cackle would show up. And it did, A LOT. However, people started noticing that the skit was a copycat of previous skits.

Kamala Harris’ appearance on Saturday Night Live instantly drew comparisons to Hillary Clinton’s ill-fated performances on the show in previous elections.

The vice president laughed throughout her skit with Maya Rudolph on Saturday’s episode, putting on a similarly giggle-filled performance to Clinton in 2008 and 2016.

At one point, Harris even repeated a joke from Clinton’s sketch opposite Amy Poehler, as she asked Rudolph: ‘I don’t really laugh like that do I?’

Yes, Kamala, you do. And it’s painful to hear. That said, for a show that’s supposed to be top notch in comedy (hint, they haven’t been since the ’80’s), it was lazy of the writers to channel the Hillary Clinton skits. Or was it planned? Hmmm, now THAT’s something to think about!

Keep in mind, Hillary’s 2016 appearance on SNL was a last ditch effort to get votes. Quite frankly, this from Kama-La reeks of the same.

Oh but there’s more. You see, SNL couldn’t be bothered to come up with any new material other than somewhat tailoring the dialogue to Kama-La’s nervous cackle and play on her name. Everything else it seems not only came from the Hillary skits, but ALSO from an episode of Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show.

Viewers noticed the concept and set looked strikingly familiar to Donald Trump’s sketch on Jimmy Fallon’s “The Tonight Show” show spot from when he was running for president on Sept. 12, 2015.

Jimmy Fallon, a former “Saturday Night Live” member, portrayed Trump during the airing of his late-night talk show.

He sat down at what looked like nearly the exact dressing room mirror, saying “Wow, I look fantastic” when Trump – just like Kamala – appeared on the other side of the mirror.

“No, we look fantastic and I mean really fantastic,” Trump said.

The two Trumps discussed preparing for the then-second Republican Primary Debate, creating jobs, immigration, taxes, his potential vice president pick and him being “really rich.”

Yes, really.

There’s another issue, actually several, with this desperate attempt to get more votes. First of all, Kama-La can do SNL, but is incapable of appearing at the Al Smith Dinner, or making time to appear on Joe Rogan’s show? Secondly, SNL might’ve put themselves into a bit of hot water by only giving air time to one candidate and not both.

Yes, there’s a problem as FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr explains.

“This is a clear and blatant effort to evade the FCC’s Equal Time rule,” Commissioner Brendan Carr posted on the social platform X Saturday in response to a post from The Associated Press about Harris being on the show that night.

“The purpose of the rule is to avoid exactly this type of biased and partisan conduct – a licensed broadcaster using the public airwaves to exert its influence for one candidate on the eve of an election. Unless the broadcaster offered Equal Time to other qualifying campaigns,” Carr, a Trump appointee, continued.

The FCC’s “equal time” rules let rival candidates ask for equal air time.

Yes, that certainly seems problematic given that the election is on Tuesday and President Trump wasn’t given equal time on a show that only airs on Saturdays. SNL may have to show receipts about whether they asked Trump to appear or not, given this from the Trump campaign.

That…could be a major misstep by the network!

Kama-La’s copycat routine on SNL perfectly illustrates how vapid she is.

If that was the skit writers intent, they nailed it.

‘Kamala, reach out and take my palmala’, Rudolph says to Harris.

She adds: ‘Kamala, the American people want to stop the chaos.’

‘And end the drama,’ the vice president responds with the audience laughing,

‘The American people want to stop the chaos, and end the drama-la, with a cool new step mom-ala, get back in our pajama-laas and watch a rom-com-ala, like Legally Blonde-ala, and start decorating for Christmas, fa-la-la-lala.

‘Because what do we always say? Keep calm-ala and carry-on-ala.’
