Democrat Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was heckled at her Town Hall on Friday.

A protester shouted at AOC, β€œI am a healthcare worker and I want to know what you’re doing about the genocide in Gaza!”

Fox News reported:

A hysterical protester yelling about the β€œgenocide” in Gaza interrupted a district town hall event being held by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., shortly after it began on Friday night.

As Ocasio-Cortez first began speaking, she pulled up a PowerPoint presentation for the night’s event. She was then interrupted before even getting through her first slide discussing the Trump administration’s budget cuts, including alleged cuts to local healthcare systems.

β€œI am a healthcare worker and I want to know what you’re doing about the genocide in Gaza!” the protester started shouting at the congresswoman.

β€œShame! Shame! Shame!” the audience began shouting at the disruptor. Audible β€œboos” could be heard as well.

The protester also said that she used to support AOC.

The protester said, β€œYou’re a war criminal! War criminal! War criminal! Shame on you, I used to support you!”

New York Post reported:

β€œYou’re a war criminal! War criminal! War criminal!” she yelled on the way out of the auditorium, adding, β€œShame on you, I used to support you!”

After a semblance of order was restored, Ocasio-Cortez responded to the provocative outburst.

β€œI more than welcome people who disagree, or are super pissed off at me for any issue to come, but we have some ground rules here,” she said.
