Mother of San Bernardino jihad mass murderer gets home confinement and probation for destroying evidence
Would she have gotten this light a sentence if her child and daughter-in-law had been “right-wing extremists” at the Capitol on January 6?

The 67-year-old mother of an Islamic terrorist who eliminated more than a lots individuals in an attack following a Christmas celebration at the Inland Regional Center was sentenced to 6 months home confinement and 3 years probation for destroying evidence linked to the massacre.
Rafia Sultana Shareef, likewise called Rafia Farook, pleaded guilty in March to a felony charge of damage and mutilation of records main to a federal criminal examination.
U.S. District Judge Jesus Bernal enforced a lighter sentence than was possible under the plea arrangement with the U.S. Lawyer’s Workplace, which called for approximately 18 months in federal jail.
Shareef asked forgiveness for her actions prior to the sentencing at the federal court house in downtown Riverside.
Her youngest child, 28-year-old Sayeed Rizwan Farook, together with her daughter-in-law, 27-year-old Tashfeen Malik, committed the mass killings at the IRC in San Bernardino on Dec. 2, 2015.
According to the U.S. Lawyer’s Workplace, Shareef was sticking with the couple in Redlands, caring for their young child child, when the set went to the IRC Christmas celebration and fatally shot 14 victims, along with injured 22 others, lots of of whom were Farook’s colleagues in the San Bernardino County Department of Environmental Health.
Farook and Malik were verified fundamentalists and had compassion with Islamic State.
District attorneys stated Shareef became aware of the terrorist attack and recognized that her child was included, triggering her to take a diagram that laid out the “attack plan” and feed it into a shredder.
“Shareef admitted that she knew her son had produced the document, and she believed it was directly related to his planning of the IRC attack,” according to the plea arrangement….
