Florida is one of the spring break capitals of the country.
Wild and crazy parties happen every year there.
And Miami Beach released one insane video for spring break that no one saw coming.
Miami Beach makes a parody of a reality show to warn spring breakers not to come
It is a rite of passage for high school and college students to descend upon Florida to celebrate spring break.
Places like Daytona Beach, Panama Beach, and Fort Lauderdale are all popular for spring breakers who are looking to get rowdy.
Miami Beach is a hot spot for spring break, but the city wants to shed its reputation for being one.
The city released a 90-second video that is a parody of a reality show called “Miami Beach Spring Break Reality Check.”
A group of friends is pumped to head to Miami Beach to celebrate spring break in the video.
“Miami Beach, here we come!” one of the friends shouts.
The friends are excited to be in a penthouse with a view of a beach, but things change in an instant for them.
“Once we got to Miami Beach, things went downhill,” a female spring breaker said.
The group of friends are kicked off the beach for drinking and having a Bluetooth speaker.
Miami Beach’s rules for spring break leave the friends increasingly frustrated as they encounter curfews, a heavy police presence, and $100 parking.
Consider this your reality check. Spring Break and Miami Beach don’t mix.

The video concludes with a warning for spring breakers.
“The show is fake. But the rules — $100 parking, curfews, heavy police presence, security checkpoints, DUI enforcements — are very real,” The video states.
Spring breakers are not welcome in Miami Beach
Miami Beach paid $425,000 to have the 90-second video made with the hope that it would go viral on social media.
The city paid for a similar video last year that encouraged spring breakers to “break up” with Miami Beach.
Miami Beach worked to keep spring breakers out of the city after they’re partying got out of hand.
Property damage, shootings, fights, and other disorderly conduct became a staple of spring break in the city.
A shooting during spring break in 2023 that left one dead and one injured was when Miami Beach city officials finally had enough.
Last year they instituted a variety of measures to discourage anyone from spending spring break in the city.
The fees for parking garages went up to $100, the towing fee for nonresidents soared to more than $500, and restricted beach access, DUI checkpoints, and curfews were implemented to keep partygoers from flocking to the city.
City officials want to send a message that spring breakers are not welcome.
“Consistent with last year’s spring break, Miami Beach will once again impose tough measures in March to reinforce the message that the city is not interested in being a spring break party destination,” the Miami Beach spring break website states. “Disorderly crowds, lawless behavior, and violence will not be tolerated.”
Miami Beach is getting creative to warn spring breakers not to flock to the city for fun in the sun.
