POLITICS: Methodist Church Performs Anti-ICE Cringe Fest During Memorial Service For Alex Pretti – USSA News

Epworth United Methodist Church held a memorial service for Alex Pretti, and a queer minister led the congregation in a song that was more cringe than you could have ever imagined.

The lyrics state they are “’going to de-ICE our neighborhoods, invite our neighbors in. We’re gonna heal this world with love, tear down the fences.”

While a church has every right to protest ICE, this one does so because they disregard the word of God. If they truly followed what the Gospel said, they would understand that He is a strong proponent of separate nation-states.

Here is Speaker Mike Johnson to break it down for the ones in the back:

As Johnson said, “it’s not because we hate the people on the outside, it’s because we love the people on the inside.” You cannot uphold public safety when you allow anyone, including murderers and rapists, to enter through an unvetted process. You cannot help the legitimate, legal immigrants when you don’t have a functioning immigration system. Most importantly, you cannot and don’t have a country when you don’t have a secure border.”

While Epworth United Methodist Church thought they were on the compassionate side with this one, they are siding with criminal aliens at the expense of public safety and a sovereign nation.

How do they expect America to function if we invited the entire world in? How do they expect Chrisitian values to be upheld if you bring people that actively want to destroy that? And how can you expect to love thy neighbor when the policies they support puts everyone in jeopardy? This is not Chrisitan compassion, it’s a slap in the face to the word of God and His people.

This church is not healing the world with love, they are actively trying to undermine everything this country built and that’s the antithesis of love.

You can acknowledge the death of Alex Pretti was tragic and still support a secure border. The two things aren’t mutually exclusive. However, when your church is dedicated to leftist Dogma rather than the Gospel, their arrogance blinds them of that. They should be ashamed of themselves but clearly, they aren’t but, as they actively campaign against your best interest in the fake pursuit to ensure no human is illegal.

While you can pretend and claim this was a nice try, it made zero difference for their deranged, leftist cause. And to mock God, whether intentionally or not, in that process proves just how much they have missed the mark.

If they truly wanted to “heal the word with love” they would love the people in this country first. However, they would rather mock this country and its laws, while they actively fight for policies that put Americans lives in jeopardy. Next time they wish to lead the church in political theater, they should remember that but they won’t, as their dedication is to the left and not the one they pretend to serve.
