SpaceX Starship Flight Test Launch with President Trump!
SpaceX conducted its sixth test flight of Starship from Starbase in Cameron County, Texas. The flight was intended to test expanded spacecraft and booster capabilities. A key objective was to return the booster to the launch site to be caught by mechanical arms on a launch tower. SpaceX was forced to forgo the tower catch due to safety concerns opting to a water landing of the booster off the coast of Texas. The launch also tested heatshield experiments and changes to the way the spacecraft reenters the Earth’s atmosphere. President-elect Donald Trump and members of his family were on site to witness the launch. SpaceX CEO Elon Musk was also there and briefed the president-elect as the launch occurred.Show Less
