POLITICS: Dems’ Epstein files obsession: Letters

The Issue: The Post’s editorial calling the Epstein files a major distraction from much more urgent issues.

The Post is correct in calling this a distraction (“The Epstein Distraction,” Editorial, Nov. 19) .

The man is dead, allow him to lie in peace and let’s get on with more pressing matters. Jeffery Epstein was a sick, degenerate man who pimped women of all kinds and ages to the rich and famous for the reward they were able to provide.

Let’s shed no tears or waste any more time; there are more important issues to discuss.

Thankfully, the highly anticipated Epstein files are going to be released. However, many agree that it will reveal nothing new.

Attorney General Pam Bondi will likely use her authority to redact the names of victims. Those victims’ identities will remain anonymous, and the names of their predators will, too.

The good news will be that we can finally get past the suspicion that President Trump was involved, and Democrats will have to find something else to spread rumors about. But no worries, I’m sure they’ll come up with something.

Democrats are obsessed with the disclosure of the Epstein files, yet when Joe Biden was president for the last four years, nary a word from the Dems about it.

They must believe now something in them incriminates the president and are looking to use it against him. Trump, however, has said he’s in favor of releasing the files, and just signed a bill allowing for it.

Will the full release of the documents become a dud for Democrats, given that Democratic names seem to dominate in the disclosure?

Pam Bondi would make J. Edgar Hoover proud with her Epstein-file shenanigans as she threatens to protect pedophile enablers with “investigations” of Democrats’ ties to Epstein. Shameful.

Yet, unable to prove that Trump shared in any aspect of Epstein’s life as a pedophile, they keep probing and come closer to defamation each time.

The Issue: The Council on American-Islamic Relations’ $1,000 awards for anti-Israel protestors.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations, a Muslim advocacy group, has unleashed its hatred here on our own beloved shores (“Protesters get ‘sick’ pay” Nov. 19).

That CAIR pays protesters who attack Jewish students and wreak havoc on college campuses should serve as a warning that it could not care less about American values. The writing is clearly on the wall.

One of the unholy side effects of Zohran Mamdani’s win is the emboldening of Muslims with Islamist beliefs.

By encouraging and indeed supporting organizations like CAIR, he opens the door to blatant antisemitism and the acceptance of the modern-day blood libel that Israel commits genocide.

The fear of violence that Jews live under in many European cities has arrived at our doorstep, and the mayor-elect shows no interest in combating those whose deeds and words encourage it.

CAIR somewhat mimics the Palestinian Authority’s “pay for slay” model by incentivizing and rewarding anti-Israel radicals terrorizing their campuses.

This is critical evidence, then, that such mayhem does not arise organically. Kudos to The Post for exposing such invidious activity.
