Democrats rushed to the microphones to trash-talk President Donald Trump on Monday after convicted madam Ghislaine Maxwell repeatedly pleaded the Fifth to the House Oversight Committee.
Because of Maxwell’s intransigence, neither congressional Republicans nor congressional Democrats learned anything from her appearance on Capitol Hill. But instead of lashing out at her, Democrats predictably lashed out at their obsession, President Trump.
For example, Rep. Melanie Stansbury delivered a lengthy diatribe accusing Trump of being “at the center” of “the largest sex trafficking scandal … in the history of the United States.”

Speaking in the clip above, Stansbury began by saying she has questions about who all was involved, including potentially Trump, in Maxwell and her partner, deceased pedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s activities.
“Now, we have a lot of questions for Ms. Maxwell with regards to what actually happened in Epstein’s affairs … how Donald Trump was involved, and whether or not he committed any crimes himself, as did his many associates who are named in the Department of Justice files,” she said.
She went on to accuse President Trump of being among the “thousands of names” contained in the latest Epstein documents released by his own administration.
“And we know that that only represents half of the files that the Department of Justice has in its possession, including files that were used for direct investigations of perpetrators, people who committed crimes, people who were co-conspirators in those crimes, and individuals who knew of those crimes,” she insisted.
Stansbury then implicated a number of Trump’s allies — including Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick, Department of Government Efficiency founder Elon Musk, and Secretary of the Navy John Phelan — in Maxwell and Epstein’s crimes.
“We know that … there are more than three dozen associates, family members, and individuals directly associated with Donald Trump named in those files,” she said before finally accusing the entire U.S. government of conspiring with Epstein.
“The United States government is engaged in an active cover-up of the largest sex trafficking scandal and influence peddling scandal in the history of the United States, and Donald Trump is right at the center of it,” she alleged.
Stansbury concluded her rant by claiming that Maxwell had purposefully stayed quiet in court to protect Trump and his allies so that the president would give her a pardon for her crimes.

“Frankly, it seems like this administration overall does not care,” she said in the clip above that was recorded after Maxwell’s hearing concluded. “All they care about is protecting the powerful and protecting pedophiles.”
She even went so far as to bring up the “Lion King” parody that President Trump recently shared to Truth Social, which subsequently made Democrats lose their ever-loving minds.
“They will do anything to distract from that, including deciding to put up in the middle of Black History Month the most racist thing that we’ve ever seen come out of a White House,” she said.
“We will not be distracted. We know who it is that needs to be held accountable, and we will go in, and we will make sure that we continue to dig,” the leftist congresswoman concluded.
Responding to both congresswomen’s gripes, conservative critics couldn’t help but roast them for their obsession.
