“Border Czar” Tom Homan on President Trump Invoking Alien Enemies Act
“By the time the other order came, the plane was already over international waters,” said President Trump’s “Border Czar” Tom Homan as he discussed a judge’s order to halt deportation flights of Venezuelan migrants that President Trump ordered under the Alien Enemies Act, a law passed in 1798. He continued to say, “I can’t believe any media would question the removal of terrorists.” When asked about concerns that the administration is using an “old law”, Tom Homan responded, “It’s not as old as the constitution and we still pay attention to that don’t we?
