The Biden Administration’s Housing and Urban Development (HUD) shelled out billions in rental assistance across the U.S. It turns out at least $5 BILLION of it went to dead people and illegals.
HUD officials said a “large concentration” of the suspicious payments went to New York, California and Washington, DC, with dead recipients getting at least some funds in all 50 states — in what federal officials are calling widespread abuse of taxpayers’ dollars under the Biden administration.
“A massive abuse of taxpayer dollars not only occurred under President [Joe] Biden’s watch, but was effectively incentivized by his administration’s failure to implement strong financial controls resulting in billions worth of potential improper payments,” HUD Secretary Scott Turner said in a statement.
While eyes are on the extensive daycare, autism, and food fraud in Minnesota and elsewhere, many of us have realized and known that was just the tip of all the icebergs. And well, here we are.
Remember how the Democrats and media threw massive temper tantrums over DOGE going after federal fraud waste and abuse? They didn’t want a spotlight on their favorite programs. They didn’t, and still don’t, want taxpayers to see how our tax dollars are being misused.
Joe Biden’s Administration sent out rental assistance across the U.S. with nary a check on the validity of the recipients.
Altogether, nearly $50 billion in federal rental assistance was doled out in 2024. The HUD report said that went to around 200,000 “ineligible” recipients — including 30,054 dead people. Another 9,472 non-citizens received rental assistance in ’24, and more than 165,000 people received “sums that exceeded the threshold for assistance in their geographic region,” according to the Post.
Thirty thousand dead people were handed rental assistance. DEAD PEOPLE. So who cashed those checks? Who was in charge at both the federal and state levels for verifying if recipients were actually …you know.. ALIVE?
Add to that the non-citizens/illegals who benefitted along with well over 165,000 people who didn’t actually need rental assistance but had their hands out anyway.
And that’s likely just the start of the fraud at HUD.
The thing is, where are the consequences? People at all levels need to be fired and/or charged or this will continue.
Our side still don’t get it.
Fraud like this (& Minnesota) happened because Democrats believed they had total control over the FBI, DOJ and blue state justice systems, allowing them to rob US taxpayers on an industrial scale with no consequences.

The report itself is chock full of infuriating details. The Biden Administration HUD officials were not performing risk assessments nor were anti-fraud measures of any kind put in place or even enforced. Furthermore, the money that dead people for rental assistance was only doled out in 2024. So how many dead people and illegals received taxpayer cash from 2021-2024?? I’d bet that number is far greater than 30K!

Indeed.
But until people involved in shoveling our tax dollars to dead people and illegals are held accountable, any politician yakking about this is doing nothing but blow hot air.
President Trump was reelected BECAUSE vast swaths of Americans are tired of the fraud. They are tired of seeing everyone get away with it. They are tired of zero consequences for the SWAMP while ordinary Americans get the boot.
The Democrats and media will work overtime trying to bury this report because it makes the Biden Administration and them look bad. We shouldn’t let that happen.
Finally, do you want to know why the U.S. is trillions in debt? This fraud is a shining example.
The payments to dead people need to come to a screeching halt. ASAP.
