POLITICS: Abandoned 10-year-old boy is another border tragedy caused by Harris-Biden

As the left gears up to resist President-elect Donald Trump’s coming cleanup of the Biden migrant mess, evidence of the need for it grows ever more stark — whether you want a simple, telling tale or cold, hard data.

First came the Texas State Troopers’ Thanksgiving Day rescue of a 10-year-old Salvadoran boy left for dead by smugglers in a desolate desert area in Maverick County, Texas.

How many other tots have the coyotes abandoned who weren’t lucky enough to get found?

And the troopers picked him up — sobbing, alone and carrying nothing but a cellphone — just days after border officials found a 2-year-old Salvadoran girl crossing with only a note of a phone number.

Meanwhile in New York, The Post broke the news that the illegal-migrant surge has left more than 58,000 criminal “asylum seekers” in New York City, and over 670,000 nationwide.

Whether convicted felons or only facing criminal charges, this population is proof that the Bidenite claims to vet migrants are as hollow as their insistence that their policies were “humanitarian.”

The ICE data also show at least 1,000 gang members among the criminal migrants in the city, goons like the two Tren de Aragua gangbangers arrested last week in an early-morning Bronx raid targeting a major NYC drug-trafficking and credit-card scam — a raid that also netted an arsenal of assault rifles.

The TdA pair were allegedly part of a gun-toting group of bandits who stormed an Aurora apartment in August in a viral caught-on-camera burglary; one of them had been ordered deported by an immigration judge in February.

Post readers won’t be surprised that these gangbangers chose to flee the Aurora heat by hiding among the hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants in America’s largest sanctuary city.

Trump’s border czar-designate, Tom Homan, says the new team’s first deportation priority will be removing the million-plus criminal aliens ICE already knows about.

We look forward to watching Denver Mayor Mike Johnstone deliver on his vow to get himself arrested trying to stop that.

Or perhaps his “resistance” will center on interfering with Team Trump’s efforts to find the tens of thousands of children who crossed the border without their parents that the Biden crew lost track of?  

Without a doubt, the Trump cleanup efforts will bring incidents that lefty politicians and their pet media will blare as horrors.

But President Biden created the nightmare when he chose to open the floodgates, encouraging millions of migrants to cross the border illegally and so enabling a vast human-trafficking operation even as he welcomed gangs like TdA to infest America — as well as dumping millions of “asylum seekers” from all across the planet on America’s towns and cities.

Repairing the damage — and stopping the tide — will require tough moves like Trump’s threats of harsh tariffs if Mexico doesn’t stop rushing the mass migrations along, and some kind of coercion to get “sanctuary” cities like New York and Denver to cooperate by turning criminal thugs over to ICE.

We also look forward to the White House demanding to know why the likes of City Councilmen Lincoln Restler, Tiffany Caban and Chi Ossé insist on protecting TdA.

All the Democrats gearing up to resist Trump-47 just as they did Trump-45 are forgetting that the nation’s seen the alternative, and voted decisively against it.

Americans want the Biden migrant nightmare ended, and they won’t be kind to those who stand in the way.
