Wyoming Republican Secretary of State Chuck Gray officially announced his campaign for Wyomingβs at-large U.S. House seat in the 2026 election.
This follows Rep. Harriet Hagemanβs (R-Wy.) decision to run for U.S. Senate instead of seeking re-election to the House, after GOP Sen. Cynthia Lummis announced she would not run again.
Gray is the first major Republican to enter the House race, positioning himself as an βAmerica Firstβ conservative continuing Hagemanβs and President Donald Trumpβs agenda.
Gray, an ally of President Trump, has also since endorsed Hagemanβs Senate run, proclaiming that her campaign is centered around the continued advancement of the βAmerica Firstβ agenda.
Β
βIβm running for Congress to continue fighting for Wyomingβs way of life,β Gray stated in a press release. βWith Congresswoman Harriet Hageman running for U.S. Senate, Wyoming needs a representative who will build on her strong record, advance our shared Wyoming values, and advance the Trump agenda that has delivered the largest margin of victory in the nation in three straight presidential elections.β
Since 2022, Gray oversaw the implementation of additional election integrity measures, such as proof-of-citizenship voter registration requirements and removing illegal aliens from voter rolls.
βWhen political insiders abandoned President Trump, I didnβt flinch,β Gray stated. βI stood with the President and the American people, because in this country, voters decide elections, not radical leftist attorneys.β
Β
βDrug smugglers β treat them like terrorists. Liberals who want to cover Wyoming with their woke wind projects β not on my watch. Radicals that want men in girlsβ sports β not happening. Illegals flooding our border β deport every single one,β Gray stated in his campaign video.
βIβll always fight for our values to stop the radical left, to stand up for working families, and protect our coal, oil, and gas, ag, and soda ash industries. And Iβll continue to stand with President Trump,β he added.
Additionally, President Trump previously endorsed Grayβs run for secretary of state in 2022, labeling him a βPowerful Champion for Election Integrity, Energy Independence, Strong Borders, and Fighting Crime.β
