A former White House staffer is finally admitting the truth about Biden’s decline, as well as the cover-up to hide it from American voters.
His in-person time with Biden, along with his knowledge of the inner-workings of the White House and the Democrat mindset gives an amazing glimpse in to the JUSTIFICATION that went in to one of the largest crimes ever perpetrated against the American voter (besides the ELECTION that actually led up to it!).
Jon Lovett is currently a podcaster.
Last year he was a contestant on CBS’s “Survivor” (first to be voted off, coincidentally), but he wasn’t always a television personality.
Before that, he wrote opinion pieces for The Atlantic — which should tell you something about his leanings.
But before that… he was a speech writer for Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton before that, and even for John Kerry during his 2004 failed Presidential campaign.

So that’s Jon Lovett, also known for covertly holding the first same-sex wedding ceremony inside the White House, even before Obama came out in favor of same-sex marriage.
Lovett, along with two former colleagues from Obama’s White House, actually met with Joe Biden last year — and they came away shocked after the White House visit.
Lovett just appeared on Jon Stewart’s podcast this week talking about what he saw in Biden that left him rattled, and why he — and others — actively chose to cover up Biden’s declining health.
I have to admit being angry at his reasoning, but simultaneously overjoyed just to hear a White House staffer who had in-person time with Biden FINALLY SAY OPENLY what we all know happened.
He literally admits what was behind the cover-up: he wanted Biden to win, according to a report in Fox News:
Ex-Obama aide and “Pod Save America” co-host Jon Lovett admitted on Jon Stewart’s “The Weekly Show” podcast that he withheld his concerns about President Joe Biden’s physical decline during the 2024 campaign.
Lovett told Stewart and his fellow “Pod Save America” host Jon Favreau that he didn’t want to publicly voice his concern over Biden’s declining health because he wanted him “to f—— win.”
He claimed he kept his concerns to himself to avoid “having the words we’re saying taken out of context and all of a sudden be part of the case against Joe Biden from the right — that would use any person criticizing Joe Biden from the left as a weapon against him.”
“So it was about being honest about Joe Biden’s age as a liability while knowing that if he is the nominee, I want to be clear that I thought it was important to make sure we did everything we could to reelect him,” Lovett claimed.

He knew first hand how bad the President’s cognitive health was. Still he chose to hide it.
Why? The same reason everyone else who had that same first-hand knowledge tried to hide it.
- They hate President Trump SO MUCH…
- They would rather have a senile empty suit running the country.
It’s not even that they LIKE BIDEN; it’s that they HATE TRUMP!
Don’t tell me that’s somehow a principled move based on values. And don’t try to pretend it’s even a PRAGMATIC move, based on “what-if’s”.
That’s an EMOTIONAL decision based on hate — period, end of story.
And that, my friends, is the essence of this ‘woke’ ideology that has taken over the Democratic party in recent years, weaponizing it in a way that often reveals the Devil’s own fingerprints on whatever it touches.
The emotion of HATE drives the decisions, under the premise of pragmatic or principled reasoning.
Did you catch his first few words? “I remember FEELING…” That’s an open door to JUSTIFY YOUR EMOTIONAL ACTIONS, if a person doesn’t fight against it with PRINCIPLES.
That’s why their logic always break down as soon as you get an inch below the surface of one-line soundbites, and that’s why it’s always paired with over-the-top cussing, and even violent outbursts.
Case in point — Charlie Kirk shared this clip on the evening of November 5th, 2024, revealing Jon Lovett’s emotional framework shattering in to a million pieces at the news that President Trump was WINNING ANYWAY:

Besides Jon Lovett’s take, Jon Stewart feigned frustration at being lied to about Biden’s true state.
Though… I don’t know if Jon Stewart was actually feigning frustration. I suspect he believed what Democrats were saying about Biden because he wanted to. (See that emotional response skewing his own critical thinking?)
Yet ANOTHER Jon (yes, there are 3 Jons in this story!) Jon Favreau, along with Dan Pfeiffer — three former Obama speechwriters who created the Pod Save America podcast together, and who met with Biden together last year, supported my reasoning during Stewart’s podcast.
Favreau argued that the biggest problem is that Democrats “have a hard time hearing hard truths and admitting hard truths to ourselves”, according to the New York Post:
“So everybody goes on television and goes, ‘You don’t understand,” Jon Stewart said during a Thursday episode of his podcast, “The Weekly Show with Jon Stewart,” discussing how people would try to frame concerns about Biden’s health. “I sit with this guy. He’s the smartest one in the room. I can’t keep up with him. I’m exhausted. I went to a meeting, and he was using words I didn’t even know were words! They were fantastic! I had to look them up. He’s the smartest man in the world.’”
During his podcast Thursday, Stewart talked about how he thinks those in Biden’s circle tried to control what the public saw.
“You know, Kamala Harris comes out, ‘I sit with this man. You don’t understand,’” Stewart said. “You don’t see it.’ And I’m like, ‘Oh, has anyone filmed that? Because you should show that.’ Because it was a very simple case to puncture. People are saying, ‘I’m a little concerned about his stamina and cognitive ability. Here’s how we can dispel that.’ Just put him out there and let him show us how f—ing smart – and they wouldn’t do it. Because they knew they couldn’t.”
Jon Favreau, former President Barack Obama’s head speechwriter from 2005-2013, said that the people closest to Biden were not honest about his decline.
“Throughout Biden’s term, you had it with the age issue, you also had it with inflation, right,” Favreau said.
“In the Biden administration, a lot of elected Democrats were like, ‘Oh, look at all the statistics and the numbers,’” he added. “And then poll after poll and focus group after focus group would have people be like, ‘No, prices are high and it’s really bothering me.’ And we’d just be like, ‘That’s just the media.’ Or ‘That’s just Republicans.’ And I think the same thing happened around Joe Biden’s age. The closer you got to Joe Biden, the closer the adviser or the family member, the more I think they were not just lying to the American people, but lying to themselves.”
Favreau also said that he thinks Democrats struggle with accepting and telling the truth.
“I think a big problem with the Democratic Party over the last several years, decade maybe, maybe even back to the Iraq war, we have a hard time hearing hard truths and admitting hard truths to ourselves,” Favreau said. “And then we have a hard time telling hard truths to the voters.”
Favreau is featured in “Original Sin” in an anecdote where he and his “Pod Save America” co-hosts Dan Pfeiffer and Jon Lovett met with Biden at the White House on April 26, 2024. The book described them as “deeply disturbed” after their discussions with Biden that night, with the authors describing the president as rambling and “incoherent.”
The bottom line is this: they knew, but they didn’t tell.
And Lovett now admits covering it up simply because he wanted Biden to beat President Trump — just like we all knew was happening behind the scenes.
I’m thinking of all the times I was called a conspiracy nut for believing what my own eyes told me, and daring to say out loud that everyone around the President of the United States was LYING to COVER UP the scary truth:
That Joe Biden, with his finger on the nuclear button, as the Command-in-Chief, and as the leader of the free world…
Was completely incapacitated beyond the ability to carry out the most basic duties of the Presidency.
I’m glad someone with first-hand knowledge is finally saying it, and even admitting WHY he did what he did.
The only problem is he feels JUSTIFIED in doing what he did — and so will every other Democrat who will now come out of the woodwork on the heels of his justifying excuse.
America, we can’t let this happen again. There are Democrats who would AGAIN vote for an incompetent empty suit… given the chance, rather than admit their policies SUCK.
“We The People” can’t let that happen. We have to KEEP WINNING this war of ideas.
We avoided the worst of potential catastrophes by the skin of our national teeth.
We might not get so lucky the next time around — may God forbid it.
