Daily Mail reports:

Polls in Pennsylvania did not close until 8pm ET. The identities of the disruptors has not been shared and no further details on their behavior have been released.

It is also unclear if they are supporting Donald Trump or Kamala Harris.

Centre County Report journalist Haley Jacobs shared a clip of the scene, with multiple locals forced to stand in a parking lot while cops probe the disruption.

Bellefonte sits in Central Pennsylvania. Centre County voted Democrat in the most recent presidential election, with Joe Biden winning 51.4% of the vote to Donald Trump’s 46.7%.

Local officials have yet to say what steps they’ll take to ensure anyone booted from the election office will be able to cast their vote if the disruption continues after 8pm.

People were allowed back into the center shortly after 8pm ET.

In an update, Centre County Report said there was a bomb threat received via email.

Per Centre Daily Times:

A bomb threat was emailed in Tuesday night to the Willowbank Office Building, home to Centre County’s elections office, and local police cleared the threat shortly after 8 p.m.

According to Centre County Sheriff Bryan Sampsel, the threat was emailed in about 6:50 p.m., before about 40 or 50 people were evacuated.

In a press release, J.J. De La Cruz, the county’s communications coordinator, wrote that Centre County is among about a dozen Pennsylvania counties to receive threats.

“Out of an abundance of caution, the Willowbank Building was cleared for about an hour while state and local police investigated the threat and swept the building,” he wrote.
