Both American Airlines and Delta Airlines are swiftly taking action against any and all pilots caught celebrating the tragic assassination of Charlie Kirk online.
Over the past few days, Milo Yiannopoulos shared a bunch of disgusting social media posts made by pilots on his own X page.
He called out the airlines, demanding consequences for their employees.
Here are some examples of type of sick stuff these American Airlines and Delta pilots posted:

In response to Milo drawing attention to the vile posts celebrating the death of Charlie Kirk, American Airlines released a statement saying that they have “initiated action”:
American Airlines condemns violence of any kind. Furthermore, hate-related or hostile behavior runs contrary to our purpose, which is to care for people on life’s journey. Any such behavior is unacceptable, and we have already initiated action to address this with our team.

Department of Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy announced that all of the American Airlines pilots who cheered about Charlie Kirk being assassinated have been removed:

American Airlines pilots who were caught celebrating the assassination of Charlie Kirk have been immediately grounded and removed from service by @AmericanAir.
This behavior is disgusting and they should be fired.
Any company responsible for the safety of the traveling public cannot tolerate that behavior.
We heal as a country when we send the message that glorifying political violence is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!
Delta Airlines responded similarly to a post made by Milo calling out the pilots:

In a company-wide email, Delta confirmed that they have suspended all the pilots who work for them who made nasty comments about Charlie Kirk’s assassination.

Whether we’re in uniform and on the clock, online or out in public, our colleagues, customers, and communities expect us to reflect Delta’s values – integrity, care and servant leadership – that we hold dear.
This week we were made aware of Delta employees whose social media content, related to the recent murder of activist Charlie Kirk, went well beyond healthy, respectful debate. These social media posts stand in stark contrast to our values and our social media policy, and these employees have been suspended pending an investigation. Violations of our social media policy can carry meaningful consequences, including termination.
Remember that we all represent Delta, at all times, in any forum. It’s essential that we act in ways that uphold our shared values and the human connecction that defines us.
Thank you for all you do, every day, to take care of our customers and each other.

The Washington Examiner confirmed:
American Airlines told the Washington Examiner in a statement that employees who “promote” political violence have already been removed.
“American Airlines condemns violence of any kind. Hate-related or hostile behavior runs contrary to our purpose, which is to care for people on life’s journey. Employees who promote such violence on social media were immediately removed from service. We will continue to initiate action with team members who display this kind of behavior,” the airline said.
It is unclear at this time how many of the airline’s pilots were grounded and removed.
The move means American Airlines is the second airline to take such disciplinary action in the wake of Kirk’s death earlier this week.
On Friday, Delta Air Lines suspended an unknown number of employees over social media posts about Kirk’s assassination. According to CEO Ed Bastian, the posts “went well beyond healthy, respectful debate,” and those employees are facing termination pending the airline’s investigation.
All of those airline pilots should be fired — and perhaps lose their pilot licenses — immediately.
Those posts about Charlie Kirk are despicable, but it’s not even just a moral matter.
I truly wouldn’t trust anyone so unhinged to fly me anywhere.
