Trump Media & Technology Group will be launching a social network called “TRUTH Social” which claims to “rival” Big Tech. The Trump Media & Technology Group put out a press release today stating that they will be merging with Digital World Acquisition Corp which will result in the company being a publicly traded company.

According to the press release the company will have a cumulative valuation of $1.7 Billion. In the release Chairman of TMTG Donald J. Trump stated “I created TRUTH Social and TMTG to stand up to the tyranny of Big Tech. We live in a world where the Taliban has a huge presence on Twitter, yet your favorite American President has been silenced this is unacceptable.
