An Arizona Superior Court judge has resigned after she was allegedly caught urinating in public near the courthouse where she served.
Prescott police said former Judge Kristyne Schaaf-Olson was seen urinating in public around 1:30 a.m. on October 4th, AZFamily reports.
“What are you doing?” the officer asks in the video.
“This is disgusting,” he said.
“I’m waiting for an Uber,” the woman replied.
“Okay, this is unacceptable,” the officer responded.
Moments later, Schaaf-Olson’s husband, Jason Olson, approached the woman and officer.
“Are you her husband?” the officer asked.
He replied yes, and the officer instructed him to wait beside the cab.
“Nope. Come on,” Olson said, reaching out for her hand.
“Yes, you can because I’m conducting an investigation,” the officer responded.
“For what?” Olson questioned.
“I just saw her puking and urinating, exposing herself to several people,” the officer said.
“Nope, that wasn’t her,” Olson responded.
“Okay, you can go by the cab or you can continue to interfere with the investigation,” the officer replied.
“Come on babe,” Olson said to her.
“Last chance, go over to the cab,” the officer said.
“No,” he replied.
“Okay, well then, you’re detained,” the officer said.

According to the police report, several witnesses flagged down an officer about what they saw.
Body-camera video shows one officer arriving at the scene as he witnesses Kristyne pulling herself off the ground behind a bush. The officer noted in the police report that she “appeared to have lost her balance” and “fell over in the bush.”

Fox News shared more:
Schaaf-Olson was cited for urinating or defecating in public – a misdemeanor offense.
The video shows her identifying herself as a judge, saying, “That’s fine. I want to let you know, my name is Judge Kristyne Olson.”
Schaaf-Olson is also seen struggling to sign the citation.
“Nope, right here on the screen. On the screen,” an officer says.
Jason Olson was cited for resisting arrest, interfering with a crime scene investigation and obstruction of government operations, according to FOX 10.
Days later, Yavapai County Superior Court confirmed Schaaf-Olson had submitted her resignation, effective Oct. 31.
“My resignation comes after careful consideration of current physical, medical and family circumstances,” Schaaf-Olson said in an Oct. 6 statement.
She added, “The Yavapai community deserves and has judges who are steadfast in their commitment to serving Yavapai County, considering current events in my life, I believe it would be difficult to honor this commitment. I have therefore decided to resign.”
