I don’t think I’ve ever seen this before…
This morning the FAA abruptly closed the airspace around El Paso, Texas for TEN DAYS citing “special security reasons”.
Take a look:

This is a fast moving story and since the initial air space closure, a lot has happened…
The closure was reportedly due to Mexican cartel drones breaching U.S. airspace, which is very troubling.
But the Dept. of War has already stepped in, taken action to disable the drones, and the airspace has now been reopened.

I find the initial 10 day closure to be very interesting here…
If they could neutralize the threat in less than an hour, why the initial 10 day closure order?
Did they overestimate the threat or is something else going on here?
