What is going on in our nation’s capital?
Tonight, gunshots rang out at Navy Yard in Washington, D.C. — near the Capitol.
Over 100 “local youths” took over the park.
Even before the gunshots, these hooligans set off fireworks and rode dirt bikes and scooters through the park.
Border Hawk’s White House correspondent Wid Lyman shared this video from the chaotic scene:

Keep in mind that Navy Yard is (or was) a nice, upper-class area in Washington, D.C — not some dangerous ghetto.
Jack Posobiec noted:
Right in Navy Yard. Supposedly one of the nicest nightlife areas of DC. Also a spot where many staffers and even some Congressmen have apartments https://t.co/aIUmhUk8jb

This all comes amid growing calls to federalize Washington, D.C.
A few nights ago, President Trump ordered a 7-day crackdown on crime with increased federal law enforcement presence in D.C.
Sen. Mike Lee is calling for a federal takeover:
Shots fired as lawlessness erupts in DC’s Navy Yard neighborhood tonight—just blocks from the Capitol
The federal takeover in DC can’t come soon enough
DC Home Rule must end now

There has never been a better time than now for President Trump to pull the trigger and seize control of D.C.
And, it may be coming very soon.
President Trump announced on Saturday that he will be holding a press conference regarding the violent crime in D.C. on Monday.
The White House posted:
“On Monday a Press Conference will be held at the White House which will, essentially, stop violent crime in Washington, D.C. It has become one of the most dangerous cities anywhere in the World. It will soon be one of the safest…” – President Donald J. Trump pic.twitter.com/mIMr8K8jDM

What do you think?
