JUST IN: Democrat Senator Adam Schiff is under criminal investigation for mortgage fraud, according to Fox News.
Schiff is accused of falsifying bank records to receive more favorable loan terms.
βMr. Adam B. Schiff has, in multiple instances, falsified bank documents and property records to acquire more favorable loan terms, impacting payments from 2003-2019 for a Potomac, Maryland-based property,β FHFA Director William Pulte previously said.
βAs regulator of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and the Federal Home Loan Banks, we take very seriously allegations of mortgage fraud or other criminal activity.β
βSuch misconduct jeopardizes the safety and soundness of FHFAβs regulated entities and the security and stability of the U.S. mortgage market.β
The investigation centers around a false affidavit that Schiff signed declaring his primary residences in Burbank and Maryland in order to get better loan terms.
The Post Millennial shared more details of the allegations:
A report last month revealed that the Federal Housing Finance Agency made a criminal referral to the DOJ, accusing Schiff of altering bank documents and property records in several cases to secure more favorable loan terms.
He allegedly has claimed both his Burbank and Maryland homes as his primary residences in order to get more favorable mortgage rates.
Schiff was referred to the DOJ by the US Federal Housing and Finance Agency (FHFA) in May, where Director William Pulte wrote, βBased on media reports, Mr. Adam B. Schiff has, in multiple instances, falsified bank documents and property records to acquire more favorable loan terms, impacting payments from 2003-2019 for a Potomac, Maryland-based property.β
President Trump boldly called out Adam Schiff in a post on Truth Social last month.
He not only called for Adam Schiffβs prosecution, but attached a copy of the notarized false affidavit.
For reference, hereβs that post:
Now, it looks like President Trump is getting exactly what he β and so many others β have called for.
Finally, justice is coming for Shifty Schiff.
No one is above the law, after allβ¦
