In a world gone mad, HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is not afraid to seek the truth — no matter how unsettling it is.

And, the troubling truth is that we have a violence epidemic in America, which Big Pharma may be fueling.

In the wake of yet another school shooting committed by a drugged-up, mentally-ill, young transgender man, RFK Jr. is doing something that should have been done a long time ago.

During an appearance on Fox News, RFK Jr. said he considers mass shootings to be a “health crisis.”

For the first time ever, the HHS will be conducting research into how America’s over-dependence, especially on SSRIs and other psychiatric drugs, may be directly linked to the surge in violent attacks.

Watch what RFK Jr. had to say here:

If you don’t know, SSRIs stand for Selection Serotonic Reuptake Inhibitors, and they are typically used to treat depression.

As RFK Jr. mentioned, one side effect many of these drugs warn about is suicidal and homicidal thoughts.

Disturbingly, over 30 million people are currently taking these drugs in America, and that number has steadily risen over the years.

Grok provided some numbers:

As of the most recent data from 2015–2018, about 13.2% of U.S. adults aged 18 and over (approximately 33 million people, based on population estimates) reported taking antidepressant medications, including SSRIs, in the past 30 days. SSRIs, being the most commonly prescribed antidepressants, account for a significant portion of this figure, though exact numbers for SSRIs alone are not isolated in the data. Estimates from 2020 suggest over 37 million Americans were on antidepressants, with SSRIs like fluoxetine, sertraline, and escitalopram being the most prevalent. The number has likely increased since, especially post-COVID, with a 2024 study noting a 66.3% rise in antidepressant dispensing rates among those aged 12–25 from 2016 to 2022. Women (17.7%) and older adults (19% for those 60+) are more likely to use them than men (8.4%) or younger groups. Non-Hispanic white adults (16.6%) also report higher use than other racial groups.

Precise SSRI-only figures are hard to pin down due to overlapping antidepressant categories, but the trend shows a steady increase in use, driven by mental health needs and broader prescribing practices.

At this time, we don’t know exactly what medications Robin Westman was on when he carried out the horrific mass shooting at Annunciation Catholic School yesterday.

The New York Post has more:

Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. revealed Thursday that he has ordered an investigation into whether drugs that transgender shooter Robin Westman was taking during his transition could have played “a role” in his depraved violence.

“We are doing those kind of studies now,” he told “Fox & Friends” when asked if it was possible drugs taken during Westman’s transition played “a role” in him shooting up his former Catholic school’s first Mass of the year Wednesday.

“We are launching studies into their potential contribution,” he said in a response to a question noting that another recent school shooter, Audrey Hale, was also transgender.

The Health and Human Services secretary did not reveal if it was known what drugs Westman or Hale had taken, if any.

However, he noted a wider concern about Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRIs) used to treat depression.

“Some of the SSRI drugs and some other psychiatric drugs might be contributing to violence,” he warned.

Such studies had been slowed by strict patient confidentiality rules, he noted — while stressing that his department had authority to go around them to investigate possible links between such medications and mental diseases

“There was no time in the past when people would walk into a church or a classroom and start shooting people,” he said. “It’s not really happening in other countries, it’s happening here. And we need to look at all of the potential culprits that might be contributing to that.”

It’s about time the HHS investigate how these drugs, which doctors seem to hand out like candy these days, may have violent effects.

The medical industry and Big Pharma need to be held accountable.
