I’m sorry but what in the world is this?

I see the emotion and the love from Kash Patel as he delivers this message, but Valhalla?

Really?

I didn’t really know what “Valhalla” even was, all I knew is it surely wasn’t Christian.  So I looked it up and here’s what it is:

Valhalla is a concept from Norse mythology.

Meaning and Origins

The word Valhalla comes from Old Norse Valhǫll, meaning “Hall of the Slain.” It is described in the Poetic Edda and the Prose Edda, two of the most important sources of Norse myth.

Description

Valhalla is a massive, majestic hall located in Asgard, the realm of the gods. It is ruled over by Odin, the All-Father. Warriors who die bravely in battle are chosen by the Valkyries—supernatural warrior maidens serving Odin—and are brought to Valhalla.

Life in Valhalla

  • The fallen warriors, known as the Einherjar, spend their days training for the events of Ragnarök (the prophesied end of the world and final battle).
  • Each day they fight fierce battles against each other, and each evening their wounds are healed.
  • At night, they feast in Odin’s hall on an endless supply of meat from a magical boar named Sæhrímnir, and drink mead that flows from the udders of a goat named Heiðrún.
  • Odin presides over them, preparing them to fight alongside him when Ragnarök comes.

Symbolism

Valhalla represents:

  • Honor and glory in battle – the ultimate reward for warriors.
  • The warrior’s afterlife – not peaceful rest, but eternal readiness for the final cosmic struggle.
  • Odin’s power and destiny – showing that even in death, warriors serve a greater purpose.

In modern times, Valhalla is often referenced in popular culture—literature, video games, films, and even military memorials—as a symbol of heroic sacrifice and eternal honor.

Would you like me to also explain how Valhalla differs from Fólkvangr, the afterlife realm ruled by the goddess Freyja, which is sometimes described as an alternative fate for fallen warriors?

So I appreciate the sentiment from Kash, but respectfully speaking this greatly dishonors and devalues Charlie Kirk’s faith and beliefs.

Wildly inappropriate to say.

Charlie Kirk is is HEAVEN, not “Valhalla”.

So disrespectful.

Am I overreacting?
