NEWS HEADLINES: Parents At California Elementary School Protest ‘Pride Day’ Featuring LGBT Propaganda Storytime

Parents at a Los Angeles Elementary School in North Hollywood are pushing back against a Pride Day after it was revealed that the event will include teaching children that it is normal for people to have two mothers or fathers.

The event, which will occur at Saticoy Elementary, drew backlash after it was announced for the month of June.

The school district said it has already made accommodations for parents who do not want their children attending the event and will allow them to take the day off of school.

The school district released a statement re-affirming their commitment to ‘diversity’ after parents created an Instagram account called ‘Saticoy Elementary Parents’.

“Los Angeles Unified is committed to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment that embraces the diversity of the communities we serve.” A spokesperson for the school district said.

The group said that a significant number of conservative and Hispanic parents and families reside in the school district and that the event runs contrary to their values.

Parents who oppose the event are set to protest outside of the school on June 2nd at 8AM.

“We respect everyone, but some things are appropriate for children (of) that age, and some things are not,” said George Dzhabroyan, a parent in the school district and supporter of Saticoy Elementary Parents.

A group of parents are saying they’ll boycott a Los Angeles elementary school’s gay pride day set for next Friday and will keep their children “home and innocent” instead.

An Instagram page — Saticoy Elementary Parents — went up about a week ago in opposition to planned gay pride activities at Saticoy Elementary in North Hollywood, which includes kindergarteners through fifth-graders, the Los Angeles Times reported.

“Keep your kids home and innocent,” a flier created by the parents group reads, the Times said. “Videos will be shown to the students including one where it says, ‘some kids have 2 mommies, some have 2 daddies.’ This has caused outrage among parents.”

The group wrote in another Instagram post, “We said no to COVID-19 vaccines, and it’s now over.  Now it is time to say stop grooming our children,” the paper said.”
