If there was any doubt in your mind about whether Pam Bondi would be tough enough to do the job, that doubt should now be completely erased.
Bondi just held an emergency press conference to announce the DOJ has just filed charges against the state of New York, Gov. Kathy Hochul, AG Letitia James, and Mark Schroeder from the DMV.

Pam Bondi: So, thanks for being patient with us with the delay.
We’re here today because we have filed charges against the state of New York.
We have filed charges against Kathy Hochul.
We have filed charges against Leticia James and Mark Schroeder, who is with the DMV.
This is a new DOJ, and we are taking steps to protect Americans, American citizens, and angel moms like the mom standing right behind me, who you’re going to hear from in a moment.New York has chosen to prioritize illegal aliens over American citizens.
It stops, it stops today.
As you know, we sued Illinois and New York didn’t listen, so now you’re next.
Millions of illegal aliens with violent records have flooded into our communities, bringing violence and deadly drugs with them.

Even just the tone of her voice sounds like she means business. It has a distinct “FAFO” tone to it, if you ask me! Almost like, “we didn’t really want to do this and wish we didn’t have to clean up your mess, but you didn’t stop and here we are, and now we’re going to end this, and end it quickly.”
The adults are most definitely back in charge.
Fox News added more:
Bondi cited New York’s Green Light laws, also known as the Driver’s License Act, which allows illegal immigrants to get a driver’s license.
The law also prevents certain federal agencies from accessing New York State’s driver’s license information.
“If you don’t comply with federal law, we will hold you accountable,” Bondi said. “We did it to Illinois, strike one. Strike two is New York. And if you are a state not complying with federal law, you’re next. Get ready.”
A different Fox News article reports that Bondi personally removed portraits of Biden, Harris and Merrick Garland from the DOJ walls calling their presence “ridiculous”:

Bondi’s role in personally removing the portraits, first shared on X by the New York Post’s Miranda Devine, was confirmed to Fox News Digital by a Justice Department official.
Bondi “saw portraits of Garland, Biden, Harris were still up, and she took the initiative to take them off the walls herself and stack them in the corner,” the official told Fox News.
The actions come after Bondi, who was sworn in earlier this month, vowed during her confirmation hearing in January not to politicize the Justice Department.
