Venezuela’s (now former?) dictator Nicolas Maduro has arrived in New York City after being captured in a special operation last night.

This evening, he was perp-walked into the New York City DEA office.

Here’s the glorious clip of that:

Previously, Maduro arrived at the office in an armored motorcade.

Watch that moment here:

After being processed at the DEA office, he is now being flown in a helicopter to his next stop: the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.

This is the same notorious jail where both Ghislaine Maxwell and Sean “Diddy” Combs were held.

CNN noted:

A helicopter believed to be carrying Nicolás Maduro has departed from a Manhattan heliport and is en route to the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn after the captured Venezuelan leader was processed at a federal facility.

Authorities could be seen on video footage leading a figure wearing dark clothes and a hood to a helicopter.

Remember: Key figures in high-profile federal cases, including Sean “Diddy” Combs and Sam Bankman-Fried, have been held at the Brooklyn facility.

Maduro is set to face drugs and weapons charges in a Manhattan federal court next week.

Poetically, the helicopter could be seen flying past the Statue of Liberty.

More footage and videos from Maduro’s arrival in the United States have also been released.

Take a look:

Maduro’s nightmare is just beginning.

Now, it’s time to face the music.

Fox News reports that his arraignment will likely happen on Monday:

Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro could make an initial appearance in federal court in Manhattan as soon as this coming Monday, Fox News is told.

The timing could change at this stage, but his appearance will happen “likely Monday,” Fox News learned.

President Donald Trump said the U.S. carried out a strike on Venezuela early Saturday and captured Maduro and his wife, who have been flown out of the country. Attorney General Pam Bondi reiterated that Maduro and his wife had already been indicted in the Southern District of New York.

What can I say?

FAFO.
