To those with a keen eye, notice anything about the above image? More on that at the end.
So whatβs the deal with the Yankees?
Well, with the MLB supposedly walking back their DEI agenda, their largest brand, the New York Yankees, are digging in their heels.
They say theyβre not budging.
On βJackie Robinson Dayβ, the team reaffirmed its commitment to DEI.
Their D&I Committee, launched in 2021, is still active and βdoing its work,β according to team leadership.
So while MLB may appear to be scaling back, the Yankees are staying woke.
This looks like a case for Robby Starbuck, the #1 slayer of DEI companies.
We may have found the next candidate for him to take on.
Yankees stay committed to diversity and inclusion amid MLB’s quiet rollback of DEI:

Fox News reports:
The New York Yankees will remain committed to pushing diversity and inclusion within the organization, despite national rollbacks of DEI, including in MLB, an official said Tuesday.
βWe are continually working with the members of our Diversity and Inclusion Committee and are actively engaged with our neighbors and community partners,β senior vice president of corporate and community relations Brian Smith told the New York Daily News on Jackie Robinson Day.
βOur dedication towards these efforts remains unchanged, and our Diversity and Inclusion Committee continues to do its work.β
The Yankees originally revealed the creation of a Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Committee in February 2021. The announcement of that committee said the initiative was in response to βrecent, senseless tragedies in communities throughout our nation,β less than a year after the death of George Floyd while in police custody.
MLB removed βdiversityβ references from its careers page back in March. However, the careers page still includes a reference to inclusion and images of gay pride flags.
President Donald Trump has made rolling back DEI in the public and private sector an early priority of his term. One of Trumpβs day one executive orders commanded the Office of Federal Contract Compliance to βimmediately ceaseβ promoting βdiversityβ and any encouragement of federal contractors and subcontractors to engage in affirmative action-like efforts that consider race, color, sex, sexual preference, religion or national origin when making hiring decisions.
The General Services Administration (GSA) announced changes in February to the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) meant to align with the presidentβs executive order aimed at restoring meritocracy and ending discrimination in the public and private sectors.
However, the Yankees believe their commitment to diversity and inclusion aligns with Trumpβs values on the issue.
As usually, just another word salad to get around the fact that theyβre still pushing the agenda.
And the media keeps trying to guilt the masses.
Frank DeScushin writes:
The decline in journalistβs integrity should be a warning about the media.
Black kids have been leaving baseball for decades because they prefer basketball & football, and MLB is 60% White, 30% Latino, 6% Black, and 3% Asian. Diverse, but apparently not good enough because DEIβs preferred group is declining.

They may have removed it from their website, but did they remove it from the actual organization?
The MLB had removed DEI from itβs website after pressure comes from the Trump White House.
This is a major win for taking back major league sports!

The Woke is still there in MLB, despite the outward changes made 1 year and 10 months ago:
Yesterday @MLB put up a woke trans flag logo. Today itβs been removed. Players are in a full on revolt over this issue. Theyβre sick of being used as political pawns for wokeness. pic.twitter.com/hv5epuKjYD

Bonus: So whatβs the deal with the headline image?
Take a good look at it.
Notice anything?
Itβs from a time when no one is lost scrolling on their smart phones and theyβre actually talking to each other. Whenβs the last time youβve seen that? No one looking down but looking at each other.
Also, the sky is blue with real clouds, no white lines. The year that photo was taken was 2004.
