π¨ #BREAKING: Joe Biden has officially pardoned his son Hunter Biden
This comes after Biden and the White House lied COUNTLESS times saying Joe would not pardon his son.
EVERYTHING THIS ADMINISTRATION DOES IS A LIE! pic.twitter.com/Be5GI3WyKq

βFrom the day I took office, I said I would not interfere with the Justice Departmentβs decision-making, and I kept my word even as I have watched my son being selectively, and unfairly, prosecuted,β Biden wrote.
βWithout aggravating factors like use in a crime, multiple purchases, or buying a weapon as a straw purchaser, people are almost never brought to trial on felony charges solely for how they filled out a gun form,β he continued.
βIt is clear that Hunter was treated differently,β he added.
βHereβs the truth: I believe in the justice system, but as I have wrestled with this, I also believe raw politics has infected this process and it led to a miscarriage of justice β and once I made this decision this weekend, there was no sense in delaying it further. I hope Americans will understand why a father and a President would come to this decision,β the statement concluded.
βThe pardon applies to offenses against the U.S. that Hunter Biden βhas committed or may have committedβ from Jan. 1, 2014 to Dec. 1, 2024,β Fox NewsΒ noted.

If I were Biden, I’d pardon my son, too.
I mean, come on. He has the power to keep his own son out of jail. Of course he’s going to do it.
100% guilty, obviously. pic.twitter.com/8wAUGVjPP3

A closer look:
ABC News reports:
Over the summer, a jury found the younger Biden guilty on three felony counts related to his purchase and possession of a firearm while addicted to drugs. And in September, Hunter Biden agreed to plead guilty to nine tax-related charges, including three felonies, on the eve of what was expected to be a lengthy and grueling trial.
For the tax charges, Hunter Biden faced up to 17 years in federal prison and $1.35 million in fines. His gun-related conviction carried a potential of up to 25 years in prison.
Hunter Biden was scheduled to face sentencing for both cases in the coming weeks β on Dec. 12 on the gun-related charges in Delaware, and Dec. 16 on the tax charges in California.
Biden just pardoned his son Hunter.
But not Ross Ulbricht. Or Julian Assange. Or anyone that actually deserves it.
Nor did he pardon any of the countless Americans convicted of crimes for doing the same things Hunter did. They are faceless victims of the system; heβs theβ¦ pic.twitter.com/jvRo7u0OqW

βHunter Biden broke gun laws, he broke the FARA Act, and worst of all, he broke the Mann Act by sex trafficking women across the country. This pardon is Joe Bidenβs admission that Hunter is a criminal. Biden tried to throw President Trumpβs sons in jail, but he lets his son off free even though heβs a convict,β Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) commented.
βHis FBI and DOJ raided Barronβs bedroom and Melaniaβs closet at Mar-a-Lago. Joe Biden is a liar and a hypocrite, all the way to the end,β she added.

Per Fox News:
Hunter Biden, 54, has had a busy year in court, kicking off his first trial in Delaware in June, when he faced three felony firearm offenses, before he pleaded guilty in a separate felony tax case in September.
President Biden pardoning his son is a departure from his previous remarks to the media over the summer, declaring he would not pardon the first son.
βYes,β President Biden told ABC News when asked if he would rule out pardoning Hunter ahead of his guilty verdict in the gun case.
Days later, following a jury of Hunterβs peers finding him guilty of three felony firearm offenses, the president again said he would not pardon his son.
βI am not going to do anything,β Biden said after Hunter was convicted. βI will abide by the juryβs decision.β
In the gun case, Hunter was found guilty of making a false statement in the purchase of a gun, making a false statement related to information required to be kept by a federally licensed gun dealer, and possession of a gun by a person who is an unlawful user of or addicted to a controlled substance.
